Montreal is the only one of the five (5) Montreal QC locations with 4* deluxe properties. I started with $74 and was immediately offered a room providing I upped my bid $22 to $96. I rejected that. Instead, I kept raising my bid $2 each time in one other area at a time until my fifth and final bid of $82 was accepted.

Bids of $60, $65, then $70

Trying to get three (3) nights @$75 was Rejected. Changed request to two (2) nights @$75 and was ACCEPTED Per Night: US$75.00 Subtotal: US$150.00 Taxes & Service Fees: US$34.53 Total Charges: US$184.53

I started with the mid-towns (east, west and south) for $118, $122 & $126. The Downtown location was then added and accepted at the $130 bid.

Wanted a 4* anywhere in NYC. Starting bid at $118 was rejected. Kept bumping bid up $4 each time til accepted at $130.

If anybody has been a guest at this property, any feedback you could provide would be most appreciated.

How long in advance is the norm for bidding on specific hotels in Downtown Vancouver. My wife and I plan to be in Vancouver in late June of 2006. However, if I try to bid on a specific hotel now, a message comes up that those dates are not yet available. I'm just trying to get an idea when my dates will most likely be available for bidding. Thanks in advance....
