Just a lil FYI on the Peabody Orlando, it has been bought out and will become A Hyatt Regency on October 1st... I was told this during my stay this past weekend and heres the proof in the pudding .....Not sure how this will affect the star rating but this hotel should of only been a 4* never a 5 or even a 4.5 ... So this is weird , I needed a second room and in the search the hotel i first booked didnt look to be available which was the Rosen Plaza Hotel . The first time it was recommended in 90% of user reviews ... on this search it said "We are still gathering reviews for this property.".... I ORIGINALLY WON THIS HOTEL, IT WAS OFF THE BEATEN PATH FROM I-DRIVE AND UNIVERSAL . IT'S 15 MILES NORTH BUT IN ORLANDO TRAFFIC AND CONSTRUCTION ITS A JOURNEY. THE REASON FOR BOOKING WAS THE 95% RECOMMENDED WHICH IS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. THIS HOTEL IS OLD AND DATED AND AS I EXPLAINED TO HOTWIRE ITS A TOILET BOWL AND DESERVES A 2.0 STAR RATING FROM THE OUTSIDE ITS TIRED LOOKING IN THE LOBBY THEY DID SOME ZEN UPDATING BUT YOU CANT SHINE $#!T !!!!!!!! LUCKILY IM A HOTWIRE EXPRESS CUSTOMER AND WAS ABLE TOP GET A REFUND AND REBOOKED TO GET THE CROWN PLAZA UNIVERSAL FOR A FEW BUCKS CHEAPER BUT I TOTAL UPGRADE OF FACILITY. THIS HOTEL I BELIEVE WAS RECOMMENDED BY 85% OF USERS , I DONT KNOW WHY I ENJOYED IT. BUT I WAS ALSO UPGRADED TO THE EXECUTIVE LEVEL 15TH FLOOR WITH A LOUNGE AREA CONSISTING OF 3 ROOMS .
