I saw what I was pretty sure was this hotel listed as a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for $93 a night and decided to bid (I used your PRICELINE link) and see if I could get it a bit cheaper. I'm very happy with the win, it appears to be a very nice hotel in a great location!

I used your PRICELINE link! Total cost with fees $128.46. Booked direct through PRICELINE is $209 plus fees. Booked through hotel website is $254 +. Parking and internet are extra. We are flying out of Ft. Lauderdale on 02/07 post a Miami cruise so I was just looking for a 4* less than an hour drive from FLL and google maps is telling me this is 53 minutes away, so I'm happy. I had been bidding on Ft. Lauderdale first to try and be closer to the airport, but was bidding up to $125 for a 3* so I thought I'd give Miami a shot since it's fairly close. I wanted something near the water and not too far from downtown and the port so I'm happy with the win. Total cost: $343.70 for two nights plus valet and resort fee. Looking at policies and reviews: Resort Fee: $18 per day. Valet: $37.38 per day plus tax. $100 credit card deposit required. Booked direct through hotel site: $178.60+ a night. Booked through Priceline: $169+ a night. My husband has an early flight on 05/31 so he only wanted a 4* DFW North. I started my PRICELINE bid with that zone at $50, added a zone with no 4* hotels, and upped my bid by $2 each rebid until I hit something. Total: charge $79.36. I'm pretty sure the $69 PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for DFW North 4* is this hotel as well, so I still saved a few bucks by bidding. There is both a Valero and a Denny's right across the street. Most importantly, my husband is happy with the win. :)

I wanted a 3 1/2 or higher in zones 12 (Downtown), 23 (Market Center) or 28(SMU). I only used re-bid zones that did not currently show a 3 1/2* property. I started bidding at $60 and upped $1 with each added zone until I hit $72, then I started upping my bid $2. 17 bids later I landed the deal.

I have found the rooms at the Staybridge Suites for as low as $84 and as high as $90 for our dates. We may have not landed a huge savings, but after reading the reviews and hearing about the hotel offering what sounds like a decent free breakfast and free dinner with beer/ wine I am very happy with our winning hotel.
