The last time I stayed in Providence, I stayed at the Marriott in downtown Providence. I think I got the room for around $45 a night.

I started the bid at $39 based on the betterbidding website. Changing the criteria multiple times (changing dates and rating requirements), I got a 2.5 star hotel in East Providence for $90 (Johnson And Wales Inn). The dates I got the hotel for were Oct. 14 - Oct. 15 There's a parent event at Brown this weekend, that's probably why the price is so high.
