Booked using the Betterbidding.com BiddingHelper.com for 4 adults. Hotwire tab was a little cheaper than the EasyView so took that one. I have been tracking this zone/star rating for about a month now and this seems to be the lowest it will get. Same configuration was about $35 more a week ago.

I have stayed a the hotel many times. I can also attest to getting put in the old 2 story buildings. Here is a tip on parking. There is a public marina right next to the property. If you don't mind a short 3-5 minute walk you can park in that lot for free and then have a nice little stroll along the bay to the Hyatt. You can enter the Hyatt property at the pool entrance on the bay. Save yourself the $35 parking I believe they are currently charging per day.

Was a coin toss as the different three star hotels listed on the BetterBidding hotel list all seemed OK. Was surprised when I placed the reservation to see the Hotel Fusion name. I have been bidding for the past month and slowly creeping up my start point and ceiling. Seems hotels are going for much more in NYC than the same time last year. Hotel was listed at $304 on Priceline and $257 if advanced purchased direct from the hotel. Not my usually Priceline discount percentage but a good deal non the less. Unfortunately I cannot help other with the bottom dollar on this one. I began bidding for the BWI zone on 3.5 stars beginning at $60 and stopping at $75. Decided to step down to 3 star, thinking that $60 would be too low, but won on the first bid. Very happy about the price for the hotel near BWI. Won using the PRICELINE link on Betterbidding.com!

Began super low at $90 per night and then used many different free rebid zones as I climbed up the dollar scale. I am taking my own car. I will probably need to use it at times. Will have a 2 & 5 year old so not sure how they will do walking to see all the sights.

I am looking at the Hyatt Regency in the Financial District. Looking at a stay on 8/22-8/26. Based on that I would be looking at $228 for parking alone. That is without calculating all the tips for each in and out I make. I don't mind a short walk to my car, if there are any cheaper public options.

I was thinking about bidding for this property as there are have been so many great rates won lately. Held off when I found that the parking costs $57 per night. Does anyone know of any parking alternatives to using the in/out service offered by the hotel? Appreciate any advice! Just booked this hotel using the PRICELINE links here on BetterBidding.com! Here was my strategy: $65 for Downtown Denver (Declined but offered to book at $87 immediately which I turned down) $67 added Evergreen $69 added Northglen - Thornton $71 added Northeast Denver $73 added I70 - Airport West $75 added Stapleton $77 added Littleton - Highlands Ranch and won the bid! Pretty happy as I used the same strategy a couple weeks back and got all the way up to $95 wiht no luck. I believe the shooting may be hurting the summer business for the hotels in the greater Denver area.

Take a look at the winning priceline bid I just posted. It was focused on the same two zones you are looking at.

My first choice was North Michigan Ave - River North Area zone but had no luck even bidding up to $93 with no success. Began to focus on the Millennium Park zone. http://www.sixt.com/ is a European car rental company that is entering the US market. If you are renting a car out of Atlanta, Orlando, or Miami then check them out on Priceline. I was able to rent a Mercedes C class for below the cost of most other mainline rental companies' compact cars. Rented a Mercedes C-Class Pick-up in Orlando, FL on 7/17/12 Drop-off in Miami, FL on 7/20/12 $38 per day! Of course, use the PRICELINE links here on Betterbidding.com as I did!

Staying here for one night before cruising to the Bahamas. Was shooting for this property and very happy about the great deal. I consider this a huge deal. Funny because a few days ago I could not get a 4 star in Perimeter bidding all the way up to $99. I ended up settling for a 3.5 Star hotel and ran into some issues as can bee seen on a recent previous thread. Unfortunately I am not sure if this was the best deal as I started the bidding at $79, expecting to come in way too low, but it was accepted right away for the Westin Atlanta North At Perimeter Center. Perhaps there was still a few bucks left on the table? Does not matter to me as I am very happy about this property at this price! Shortly after winning the bid, I checked the reviews on both Priceline and Tripadvisor. There have been a tremendous amount of negative reviews on this property complaining both of uncleanliness and also of construction noise. Many of the reviews mention that the hotel is not worthy of its 3.5 star rating. I decided to use the Priceline chat feature just to ask if there is a remedy for this if I arrive and find the reviews to be true. The customer service person I was chatting with was extremely helpful and called the hotel while we were chatting, confirming the construction. They then requested that I call into speak with the Customer Relations department. End result is the hotel did confirm that there will be construction going on for the next several months. Priceline recommended that I re-book through their website and offered to cancel the reservation with no penalty fee. They did recommend that I stay away from bidding for a 3.5 star hotel in the Perimeter area because this hotel would not be removed from being bid on and I would in fact win it again. Just thought this would be helpful for anyone else heading to Atlanta in the coming months and possibly bidding this area and star rating.

I have spent hours the past couple of days bidding on hotels in the Atlanta area, focused on Buckhead, Perimeter, Midtown, Downtown for a 4 star hotel. Seems there is some large event in the Atlanta area and pretty much nothing available at a decent deal for the second night of my trip, Monday the 16th. I checked several of the hotels listed as 4 star are their direct websites and they show no availability on the 16th. So I decided to downgrade... Ended up bidding via the PRICELINE link on Better Bidding for a 3.5 star. Worked my way up from $70 including areas mentioned above. Finally got the Atlanta Perimeter Hotel & Suites at $79 per night. I am interested to see how the hotel is as most of the recent reviews on sites like Priceline or Tripadvisor for this property have been horrible.

Began at $85 for the Disney Maingate - Celebration area. Increased at a few dollars each time adding East, Kissimmee, Sand Lake, Winter Park. Ended up at $95 per night for the Omni Orlando Resort. Standard listed price right now on Priceline is $109. My concern is if the $109 per night included resort fees (mentioned free internet which is covered by a resort fee), if so, that would be a better deal. Currently the resort fee for this property is $20 per night. Here the resort is great so excited to be staying here. Used the PRICELINE links here on the forum to book!

Looking for a 4 star or resort in Orlando (Disney Main Gate - Celebration) and they are showing a 3.5* for bidding in that map area. I did not see a 3.5* on the Piceline Hotel List. I stayed at the Helmsley New York on June 21st-22nd, 2012. The hotel is currently being re-flagged as a Westin property. All of the renovations should soon be done. I had the pleasure of staying in one of the renovated rooms. The rooms were well appointed with new carpet, furniture, beading, etc. The public areas also have been gone through. If you stayed here in the past then this will seem like a new hotel to you. The rooms at the Helmsley are larger than most other hotels I have stayed at in the same price range. Depending on the floor and room, there are some great views to be had. Another nice thing about the hotel is that it is close to Grand Central Station, and not too far of a walk from Time Square.
