Used the forum link to HOTWIRE as always, scored a pretty good deal on a Niagara falls hotel at $38/night. Checked Skyline Inn's website and they were charging $66/night for their cheapest room.

I just thought I'd note, in case this might help a future traveler -- Hotwire now lists the following amenities for Hotel Bucaneros if you search for a specific hotel for Isla Mujeres.
Amenities: Restaurant(s), Breakfast (surcharge), Coffee shop/cafe
I assume that the 3* hotel listed if you search now for 5/14 - 5/22 with no amenities listed for $50/night is still Hotel Bucaneros. I'm still new at all this and thought I'd pass it along in case in the future Hotwire updates this property to show the listed amenities.
First off you (and this site) are amazing. Secondly, my PR travel fell through so I am unable to confirm. I did end up booking travel to Isla Mujeres, Mexico for a similar time frame (using the HOTWIRE links on the site) so thanks very much!
I took a gamble and just booked a hotel on Hotwire. I noticed a strange thing... no amenities listed.
Turned out to be Hotel Bucaneros - reviews are generally positive on Tripadvisor but no pool which is a bit of a bummer. Saved $5/night off the normal rate of $44.
So I saw a similar request to help ID in the same area in early May but I came up with one on Hotwire that I'm stumped on..
