  1. Thanks for your help on this. We decided to go with the AAA website because of the challenges with finding accommodation that was cheap, on the beach, and would work for a family of four. Though 4* and affordable, the Sheraton Hotel and Casino didn't really suit our needs. Thanks for everything!
  2. Right now, with the Hotwire tab, there's a 4* hotel in the Condado region at $178 per night with the following amenities: FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Casino, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Golf Nearby, Spa Services, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower
  3. Here's what I found on Hotwire 4* Free internet, pool, pet friendly, fitness center, Casino, self service laundry, restaurant, smoke free rooms, business center Right now: $145 per night
  4. On HOTWIRE, I found a 4* hotel in the Condado Area of San Juan for about $148 per night. Amenities: Free internet, pool, pet friendly, fitness center, Casino, and more. It says it's 51% off the normal price. My guess is the Sheraton Hotel and Casino.
  5. Thanks for the tips. I've used PRICELINE and HOTWIRE before. I'm trying to make as educated a guess as possible in the zone I'm hoping for. I'll check hotwire for dates, star level, and budget, and get back to you with what I find.
  6. I'm traveling with my family to Puerto Rico from 3/6/14 to 3/10/14. I'll have my wife and three kids with me, ages 6, 4, and 7 months. I might have to list us as a family of four in order to get the rates on Priceline or Hotwire. I think this is okay since our third kid is a baby. I've zeroed in on the El Caribe Hilton because it has a lot of kid-friendly stuff like playgrounds and kids clubs. Since I'm new at this, I need your advice on how to get this hotel. This hotel is listed at $299 per night on Priceline for a regular reservation. Under Express Deals, there's a hotel in the Condado area for $147 per night, but I'm pretty sure it's the Sheraton. What's your advice? If I can get this hotel for under $160 per night, I'll be pretty happy. It was listed at $259 p.n. on www.aaa.com.
  7. For some reason, that price isn't coming up when I put in PDX to MFR. The lowest I'm getting is $98 a day. Would you let me know how you got it down to $53 a day?
  8. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I read my messages and followed the links. First of all, I dropped my itinerary by a day. Now it's a two-day rental rather than a three-day rental. PDX (Portland) to either Grants Pass, OR (1st choice) or Medford Airport (MFR, second choice) 8/7 at 11 am to 8/9 at 11 am Mini-van (1st choice) or full size (2nd choice) I have a family of four which means I can't go much lower than a full size car. We'll have a bunch of luggage. When I went to Priceline, I couldn't get anything under $100 a day. Thanks for helping!
  9. Dear Friends at Better Bidding, I was on Priceline earlier today looking for the following search for a car rental in Oregon: PDX (Portland) to either Grants Pass, OR (1st choice) or Medford Airport (MFR, second choice) 8/7 at 11 am to 8/10 at 11 am Mini-van (1st choice) or full size (2nd choice) I wasn't able to find anything under $300. Do you have any recommendations for getting the price down? I'm willing to go down to the Medford, Oregon airport (MFR) even though we're staying in Grants Pass. Thanks! - Jared
