  1. I also noticed that there is only one other zone that is below 3* and that is Zone 6 (Richmond), so does that mean I only will get 2 Bids and then have to wait 24 hrs?
  2. Those 3* Hotels above are fine and their location is real good. What do you recommend I start my bidding for those 3* Hotels? I am already maxed out at $215 for 3.5* and may be willing to go up to $235 for 3.5*. For 3* Hotels, I am not sure, but if I can save $200 total on a 3*, I would do it. Thanks
  3. You are right, the price went up to $227, I guess it changes day by day. Hotwire has 3* at 203, 3.5* at 216 Priceline has 3* at 227, 3.5* at 252 I am also looking for a Booking strategy recommendations for 3* PRICELINE , what price should I start at?
  4. Yea, it's July 5th for 3 nights and the price for the 3* is the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal, where they choose the Hotel, you choose the star rating and you get the associated discount. What Hotel do you think are they talking bout, or I guess it can be any of the 4 I listed above.
  5. PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals for $187/night 3* in Fish Wharf is below, 45% Savings, no bidding required. 3.5* is $252 (20% savings) These are listed as Guaranteed Amenities for the 3*: Maybe Holiday Inn, Radisson or Courtyard? Free Internet Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center Which Hotel/Hotels do you think would it be. I could also start a 3* Fish Wharf Bidding at $125/night and MAx out at *175, Decisions? Or MAybe I can Bid 3.5* in the Wharf and Max out at $225/night.
  6. I am going to stay at the WHarf regardless. I will increase my bid a little for 3.5*, if it fails, I will back down to 3* in the WHarf. Thanks for the follow up, thereuare, I would probably be lost without your recommendations.
  7. PRICELINE median recommended price for a 3* in the Wharf is $282, a 3.5* is $319. For theat smnall a difference, I might as well stick with 3.5*, right? Should I expect similar price from the 3* in the wharf? Right Now I am maxed out at $215 yesterday for 3.5* in the WHarf, I might go up to $240-$250, what should I expect to pay for a 3*, will I get a good price? Meaning, can I get away with $150/night which would save me $300 on 3 days.
  8. Yea, thanks. I prefer the WHarf. I will check HOTWIRE and see what is has to offer and I will check this site for what Hotels people got on Hotwire as I never used it before. Marriott Brand is expensive and unfortunately that's what I would prefer. Obviously SHeraton, Hilton, Hyatt and Radisson are nice too and those would be fine as they are comparable. The hotels on HOTWIRE, where they give you the hint, are you guaranteed to get one of those hotels? Hotwires has 3* for $200 and 3.5* for $214
  9. Yea, thanks. I prefer the WHarf. I will check hotwire and see what is has to offer and I will check this site for what Hotels people got on Hotwire as I never used it before. 10. Ok round 3 and 4 of Bidding. I maxed out at $215/night with no acceptance. Looks like they want $250/night+. I am wondering if I should try for $250 or go back to a 3*. I would want the Marriott Courtyard in the 3*, but I guess I would settle for the Holiday Inn if its centrally located.. In the 3.5*, I know the Hotels are an upgrade like the Marriott Fish Wharf which is real nice. I still would like 3.5* unless I def know the 3* is the Courtyard. Decisions, Decisions?
  11. I will up the bid as discussed. I thought I would get lucky with a good right but you are right, I gotta increase it.
  12. I am striking out so far up to $145/night. I am wondering if I should lower my quality to 3* The 3* Hotels in the Wharf under PRICELINE are the Radisson, Best Western, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Marriott Courtyard. Whatya think? I could increase my 3.5* bidding and max out at $179 I guess.
  13. Sorry bout that. I am looking to max out at $170/night for 3.5* or above. I will back down to 3* if I must, but will try 3.5* first. Thanks
  14. Done. Sorry it took me a while. WIth the links above, HOTWIRE is asking 215-220 for 3.5-4* while PRICELINE is suggesting a 3.5* for $319 and a 3* for $246. Thanks I usually use PRICELINE so I might stick to them unless I have an idea what Hotel HOTWIRE will use.
  15. I decided not to go 5* as it was way too expensive. PRICELINE seemed to want $135+ which was way above my budget so I decided to stay at Planet Hollywood (4* I believe). I used a friends and family code which gave me the room for $40/night. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
  16. Looking to stay at the Wharf during a busy time unfortunately, July 5, July 6, July 7. Hoping I can get The Marriott like I got last year, but I will settle for the Sheraton, Radisson, Hilton. If all else fails, the Holiday Inn. What should my price expectations be? The listing on Priceline is approx. $299/night for 3.5*
  17. Looking for 5 star on Vegas strip, North or South for June 30th, what are the going winning bids approximately. I max out at $100/night. Steve
  18. Thanks Guys for all your help and the rebidding process. THe two folks that originally helped me out, thereuare and romelle, thank you so kindly. Someone won the same hotel 3 days ago at almost the same price, I should started around that price, but I tried to nickel and dime it. Either way, Priceline has the Hotel listed at $219 and up, so $149/night is pretty darn good, since this is the property I wanted. I am very grateful, and I did use the PRICELINE link on this site. Regards, Steve
  19. I already used zone 6 earlier and did not close out the browser, so I assume I have to wait 24 hrs. Tomorrow morn, Should I start my bidding low, or should I add $5 to my highest rejected bid, which was $115
  20. Thanks, I understand, it's the idea of different combos and making sure the zones are unchechecked. I will try Thanks Steve
  21. How do I go up to $150 in one session, I bid all 6 zones that have 3* and lower (starting at $85/night) along with the 3.5* Fish Wharf. My budget is approx $125/night. How can you continue the session as you mentioned above.
  22. Yea, your advice was right on, I identified all rebid zones, wrote them down on paper and made sure they were all 3* and lower, since I wanted onl;y 3.5* and the wharf. I started at $85, and went up to $115 I think. My Budget is $125 max per night. Do I wait 24 Hours, do the same thing. Where do I start my opening bid? $90, or higher?
  23. Ok, I added the rebid zones as you asked, and upped my price by $5 each time, $85, $90, $95, etc. It was all denied through, $110, so obviously I azm bidding too low. WHat is my next strategy. Wait a day, bid higher, etc. Steve
