"thereuare", I book with better bidding everytime and I've updated the threads with as much information as I remember.
If you can help me identify the hotel in LIC, that'd be great.
Hi everyone,
Went to HOTWIRE (via BetterBidding) and searched for 05-08SEP 3* in Long Island City.
Result $126USD :
Free Internet
Pet friendly
In-room accessibility
Handicapped parking
Booked this for $146/night... a few dollars less than a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal.
Naturally I used the better bidding PRICELINE link.
Hi everyone,
Just as the title suggests. Star rating 3+
Of course I'll use the PRICELINE link, but can anyone recommend a strategy?
Hi there,
I can't believe I forgot to mention the hotel I won. It was the Westin Alexandria. Super modern, super comfy. Though I utilized the free street parking, I also found the location very close to the Metro. Quite handy for downtown Washington!
Of course I used the HOTWIRE link on Betterbidding, com to make this purchase.
Hi there,
Alexandria thread updated. I included a tip for free parking.
For NYC, Priceline Express deals doesn't say much about the properties. It only tells me that both feature :
Guaranteed Amenities:
Free Internet
Restaurant
Business Center
Fitness Center
This hotel was amazing.
Great location, super comfortable and clean.
I hired a car ($12/day) and got FREE street parking when I attended the Alexandria visitors bureau. Marvellous"
Hi everyone,
From 22FEB-25FEB (3 nights), Priceline is offering me an "Express deal":
4* in Midtown East for $135
4* in Midtown West for $138
Can anyone help me identify the properties?
Hi everyone,
First question - does BetterBidding benefit when I use the HOTWIRE or PRICELINE link and book a car? Just curious, I'll use the no matter what.
Second question - flying to IAD on 07SEP and leaving 09SEP. I see a 4 star in Alexandria "and Old Town". Can anyone identify?

Hi everyone,
I normally use the SuperShuttle for ground transfers EWR/Manhattan. However, on a recent HOTWIRE purchase (using the BetterBidding link) I got a "deal" on Go Airlink NYC...
I'm starting to have regrets:
- Vouchers require reservations.
- Their websites is good for purchases, but not redeeming vouchers
- Telephone Customer Service say I don't need a reservation
Does anyone else have experience with Go Airlink NYC?
I used the HOTWIRE link to book this.
Feedback from BetterBidding.com members helped me identify my mystery hotel as Club Quarters Downtown.
I like this location because it's the first stop for shared ride service from Newark and the last pickup on the way back - this means I have the shortest ride of all passengers (both ways). The hotel also features free WiFi in the rooms and is close to the subway.
Thanks everyone for your help!

Help identify 3* Soho/Downtown
We're visiting NYC from 21-24JUN. A search for Downtown offers only 1 property @ 184.51 per night.
Any idea what hotel this could be??
Hi there,
Thanks for the quick reply!
Our limit is up to $200 per night, so let's throw it wide open... MTE, TS, MSG and Downtown are areas we know and would be comfortable in. However, we're open to suggestions for other areas. - especially for a diamond in the rough.
I mentioned Club Quarters because I figured it'd be the lowest priced place downtown.
Anyone got a great recommendation? 21JUN-24JUN, $200 per night (with taxes) transiting EWR.
LOVE all the site improvements. Much easier to use as well as use your PRICELINE link within that iframe to stay on site.
Read that people have been getting the Marriott in Montreal for $100, looked good to me. Hotwire I think has it as an unnamed hotel for $132, as it is the only 4 star they are offering in that area for these dates.
Put my bid in and got 2 nights for $100 a night.
Thanks Betterbidding for making everything easier to find and easier to book!
Eric
Me too! Just booked this property for two nights 26JUL-28JUL @ $100.
Good deal, great location, even better using the PRICELINE link on BetterBidding.
Hi everyone,
My wife and I are looking for accommodations in New York City between 21JUN and 24JUN.
We're transiting EWR, so Madison Square Garden, Times Square and Midtown East are preferred for access to the AirTrain. However, we could also stay downtown (Club Quarters) and take the SuperShuttle (usually a non-stop trip to/from EWR).
Are there any diamonds in the rough that I'm overlooking? We're looking for at least 3.5 stars.
