I started bidding around $55 and ended up winning at $71. I didn't want to go above $80 or $85 because there is a $25/day resort fee (wow!) so we took that into consideration. I checked Expedia and found with taxes and fees (before the resort fee), it was $143/night. Using PRICELINE bidding, we paid $83/night with taxes and fees (before resort fee). I used the PRICELINE rebidding strategy. We are excited and the reviews on Mandalay Bay look good so I think we will enjoy it!

I do not see Las Vegas Strip South as an option when bidding anymore...did something change? I checked several different dates. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

I won the Westin in Las Vegas for $60 a night. We will be there August 3 and August 4. I had previously tried $50 and $55. I'm happy to get such a good price and hopefully we will be happy with it! I love this forum to get an idea of where to start and what other people are winning! It's SO helpful!

I stayed at the Peppermill for one night from 4/23-4/24.

Won the Peppermill resort spa and casino for $40 for a 4* in Reno South. This was my first bid and I didn't expect to get it that low or I would have started at $30 or $35. Also, before this I had bid up to $60 for 2.5* in Winnemucca and didn't win before I tried Reno.
