  1. I used HOTWIRE link from betterbidding. It was originally listed as 4* Boutique Hotel in Central Sedona area with: Free parking, free internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, smoke-free rooms, fitness center, pool(s), Restaurant(s), business center. After the booking was done, the full list of amenities was listed as: Amenities: Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services Accessibility: Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Charges were $87 per night. x3 = $261 Taxes and fees by hotwire $60.90 There was a "moresummer" promo code available which I used and it knocked off $30. Final total was $291.90 The hotel charges an additional $22 a day resort fee. The resort fee was the most obvious clue about the property and I was 99% sure that it would be the Sedona Rouge. (Regular rate was $143 a nite on regular HW and PL and other sites)
  2. I ended up booking Hotel Elvira Plaza on Hotels.com. It was 99 Euros per night. The hotel was very centrally located in the old part of town. Rooms were small and adequate, nothing special.
  3. Used the PRICELINE link. On PL EXPRESS bids saw a 4* being offered at 102. Saw a similar looking 4* hotel on Hotwire for 99 too. I am 99% sure that both of those were also Sheraton Kona Resort. Tried to see if I could knock this down. Bid $85. Got rejected. Bid $90 (free rebid - volcano area). - rejected. Bid some time later $95. was accepted. Figured I saved about 20$ over the Hot.wire / PRICELINE EXPRESS deals. :) Check-In: Thu, Mar 26, 2015 Check-Out: Sun, Mar 29, 2015 Offer Price: $95.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 3 Room Subtotal: $285.00 Taxes & Fees: $50.37 Total : $335.37 (Also I expect to pay about 30 plus tax per nite for resort fees)
  4. Thanks. That was my guess too. Its too far and I am looking at something that's more in the city center. I will keep on looking :)
  5. Please help identify this 5* Seville, Spain hotel. checkin - May 17 2013 checkout - May 19 2013 Price - $107 Seville Area hotel (0.2 - 4.0 mi from city center) Recommended: In 90% of Hotwire customer reviews Amenities: Free Internet, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service), High-Speed Internet Access, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower. Customer rating on TripAdvisor : 4.0 out of 5.0
  6. Used the PRICELINE link. Wanted a 3* in Napa downtown area. On PRICELINE EXPRESS bids saw a 3* being offered at 107. Saw a similar looking 3.5* hotel on Hotwire for 107 too. After reading the forums figured it was Best Western Premier Ivy Hotel Napa. On the hotel website they were charging 143. Figured I could get this on PL for less than 107. Started bidding today at 65. increased bids by 5$ adding several free rebids (used the permutation method of rebids) Got accepted at 85. Figured I saved about 20$ over the PL express deals. :) Check-In: Sat, Dec 29, 2012 Check-Out: Sun, Dec 30, 2012 Offer Price: $85.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $85.00 Taxes & Fees: $19.98 Total : $104.98
  7. La Quinta Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort Check-In Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 04:00 PM Check-Out Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 12:00 PM La Quinta Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort 49-499 Eisenhower Drive La Quinta, CA 92253 Summary of Charges Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $100.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Room Subtotal: $200.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $37.94 (USD) Total Room Cost: $237.94 (USD) --------------- Ok so here is the long story. I have been trying a PL bid for about 2+ weeks now. I have bid in the 70 to 110 range for resorts down to 3.5 stars and pretty much all were rejected. I was hoping to do 5/3 to 5/6 but would settle for a break up of the trip in two parts and do 5/3 to 5/5 and then 5/6 separately since Sat night stay is more expensive. And again all these options were rejected. Until... today I bid 90$ for 3.5* 5/3 to 5/5 for Palm Springs area. (I thought I might get the Hyatt which a few days ago was as low as $126 on the Hyatt website but went up today) Got a counter for 135. Rejected and then bid 100 and added Rancho Mirage - Indian Wells area. And was pleasantly surprised to get La Quinta Resort (regular price is 199 on their website). An offer was made to extend the stay but it came back and said no availability. I will see if I can get a different place for 5/6 next. used the PRICELINE link from the your page. Cheers.
