Oops, I copied the wrong link. It was indeed PRICELINE :-)
As the subject says... I used the HOTWIRE link to book... $165/nt, 6 nights... Priceline shows $339/nt for the same property in list view and $186/nt as the cheapest express deal for same category/location... I am extremely pleased with this deal.
Thanks for this great site and for the help!
Which date/s are you looking at?
Looking at Nov. 4-8 or 11-15.
Thanks!
Hi All...
Looking at a long weekend in November with the wife, planning to do a 5* on the strip.
From reading this forum, I'm a bit concerned about using PRICELINE because it seems that every 5* win lately has been Trump. While this seems like an OK hotel and an OK location... The wife has never been to LV before, kind of want her to have the full experience at a hotel with a casino.
I see a lot of people getting Trump at $100-120... Reality is my budget is a bit higher than that. I'd go as high as $160. My question is this... If you bid higher on priceline, does it potentially change what hotel you'd get, or does it just mean I'd just end up overpaying for Trump? For example, does PRICELINE say 5*... On the Strip... $100-$120... OK that's Trump -- but $120-$150... That's some other hotel?
In looking through the last couple months of this forum, I haven't seen a single 5* win on the strip that HASN'T been Trump. That makes me a little leery of using Priceline this time around... Yet the 5*'s at HOTWIRE are a little out of my price range for the dates I'm looking at.
Any thoughts?
Same here - looks like a bug in the site's admin script is letting someone abuse it...
Hi all,
I am trying to decide between two properties coming up on Hotwire for this winter, 1/21-1/28. They are:
#1: 3.5*, Lihue-Kapaa. Resort, Beachfront, Airport Shuttle, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Business Center. I _think_ this is the Radisson. Can anyone confirm?
#2: 3*, Lihue-Kapaa. Condo, Beachfront, 1BR, Fully-equipped Kitchen, Kitchenette, Pool(s), Daily Housekeeping, Free Parking, Front Desk, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Laundry Facilities (self-service). I have _no_ idea what this one is. Any ideas?
Ideally I'd prefer the condo, I'd just like to first be able to check and make sure it's not gross. ;-) Any information much appreciated!
