Hudson, A Morgans Original - 4 Stars 356 West 58 Street New York, NY 10019 $130/night for 3 nights + $87.75 in taxes & fees = $477.75 The rooms look fairly small but what can you expect in NYC? We're very excited about this hotel and its location.

Best Western Plus The Inn & Suites At The Falls 50 Red Oaks Mill Road Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 $111/night for 2 nights + $41.58 in taxes & fees = $263.58 Making a trip to NY for a cousin's wedding. This is hotel is a 2.5 star hotel for $111/night compared to $130/night in a 4 star hotel in NYC that I'm staying at during this same trip. So that being said, this is more than I wanted to pay in Poughkeepsie but I think the 4th of July really brought my rate up.

Hampton Inn & Suites-Dallas Allen - 2.5 Stars Allen-McKinney 830 West Stacy Road, Allen, TX 75013 $55/night for 1 night + $15.68 in taxes & fees = $70.68 Although I was hoping for a hotel in McKinney since that's where the wedding is that we will be attending, I'm satisfied with the winning bid. It's a great deal! I was not expecting this hotel since it was not listed in BetterBidding's Priceline Hotel List, reviews online seem pretty positive. So that's comforting. PRICELINE link used.

Thompson Chicago - 4 Stars North Michigan Ave - River North 21 East Bellevue Place, Chicago, IL 60611 $120/night for 3 nights + $68.88 in taxes & fees = $428.88 I wanted 'Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area' but went up to $130/night with no luck. Oh well, this area is just as nice!

$45 bid +$13.42 taxes and fees = $58.42 Total. A little more than I was expecting but it beats driving home to Arlington after an evening wedding in Bells, TX.

$110/night for 3 nights + $56.61 in taxes & fees = $386.61 Pretty good rate especially since the marathon is in town that weekend.

Looking for a hotel room in Downtown Houston to watch the Houston Astros take on my Texas Rangers. I wanted at least 3* so started at $35 and had to increase my bid 3 times. $46 +$15.03 taxes and fees = $61.03 Total.
