I tried to bid for a convertible on Priceline for San Diego from April 2nd - 6th (4 days). My first bid was not accepted ($30), so I waited my 24 hours and went to try again. However, I get a message saying that a change in price alone is not sufficient to submit a new rental car request. Is this really true? Am i not able to re-bid on the same dates and car type after 24 hours? Thanks.

We Pricelined a hotel for the night of Thursday, July 19th in Nags Head, NC, and we got the Nags Head Inn - Travelodge (2*) for $80.

After multiple attempts on Priceline.com for a hotel in the resort area or the Pembroke area for as much as $120 for a 2.5* hotel or above, I decided to book the 3* hotel for $70 on hotwire.com. The hotel turned out to be the Holiday Inn - VA Beach Exec. Center, and the rate on their website is $135, so I am happy. It's about 12 miles from the beach, 5 miles from the Norfolk airport. Amenities: Pool, Restaurant, Buisness center, Laundry Facilities, Fitness Center

I started with a bid of $70 for a 3* in USE and Fisherman's Wharf, and I was rejected. I then added USW and raised the bid to $80, and I was rejected again. I tried again for a 3* in USE and Fisherman's wharf, but this time I had a bid of $90, and my offer was accepted at the Galleria Park Hotel. I guess Priceline's boutique hotels are rated above a 3*, and when I looked on Expedia it is listed as a 3* deluxe boutique hotel.
