I'd like to name my own price. Would like to be in the below $20 a day range. HOTWIRE is at 30 currently. I would think I could get it cheaper. Wonder what strategy to take or what other people are winning on bids. Economy car is fine.

Pardon my ignorance as I'm fairly new to this. Is there a somewhere I can read about what you mean by "rebid zones"? I'm adding pretty much anywhere else south of Central Park that is still available to be bid on. It's possible I did something wrong.
It won't let me rebid. Says "We were not able to process this request since our records indicate you have already made a request for this same trip". I am the 3rd options for rebidding.

Hello, I am going to be in NYC on 3/15-3/18. I am open to staying anywhere in the city. I would like to book a 3.5 star+ for as cheap as possible. Thinking somewhere in the range of $100-$125 a night. Can someone help with a bidding strategy?
I have bid in every zone south of central park. Bids have gone as high as 150 for a 3* room. I feel like I can get a room at that rate, just trying to see if there is a strategy I might be missing.
Hello, I was just introduced to this board and love all the info it has provided me. However, after using many of the strategies here in my own bidding I need some help. My wife and I are going to NYC on May 10th - 14th. We would like to stay in Manhattan and are not picky on area. Only thing we want is south of Central Park. So, anywhere from DT to CPS is fine. I've tried bids up to $150 for 3* with no success. Am I bidding too early? Can someone provide a strategy I can try? Thanks
