I'd been bidding off and on for the past month for a San Juan resort hotel for my honeymoon and hit the right number last night at $85 for the Conrad Condado Plaza. Very happy to get this hotel at that price because now I can spend more money on the other parts of the trip!

I have always had luck using this board for guidance and have gotten many great deals with Priceline bids in the past. I have a one-night stay in DC, arriving on 4/25 and leaving the next day. I would prefer to be in Capital Hill, Downtown, Downtown-White House or Convention Center-US Capital North. I'm looking for 4 star or above. I have bid up to $150 unsuccessfully, which is actually more than I really wanted to bid but I could swing that if I had to. I can't seem to find any events going on that day that would cause rates to be so high on a weekday like that, but am open to any tips or suggestions for that bid. Any help is greatly appreciated!
