Never mind, Hotwire was showing me default dates instead of my actual travel dates. Might be a great deal for someone going to NYC next week though.
First bid, using the PRICELINE link. I'd been looking at Express Deals in Tampa for several days, and this property appeared for the first time today (day of arrival) with a $65 express deal. Rack rate is $169/night.

I chose the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal rather than bidding because I did not want to get the Courtyard in this zone. Happy with the deal.
Started my bidding with the PRICELINE link. Received an $80 counteroffer to my $65 and $66 bid before my $70 bid was accepted. PRICELINE EXPRESS shows a property in this star level and zone at $78, which may well be the Marriott, as there aren't many 3.5* hotels in this zone.
Used the HOTWIRE link to bid. I think this may be a new hotel or a re-rating for the HOTWIRE Hotel List.

$95 rejected with a $121 counteroffer when I used the PRICELINE link to start my bidding. Best available rate at the Hilton website is $287 or $255 prepaid. This property is back to 4* after a downgrade.
Looks like hotels are guarding their inventory in advance of the possible snowstorm. The rack rate for this property is $304! The lowest 3.5* express deal is $118.
