Sprung for the 3* from Priceline Express... got the Clarion Hotel Airport Portland. I used a 10% off coupon i had for PRICELINE EXPRESS. Was either this mystery or the Motel 6 where I stayed last time and an escort got arrested across the hall; hope the extra $17 is worth it. -J.

Also need some help IDing a 3* hotel in the Portland - Portland West Area from Priceline. $51/night (12/26-28, 1 room). This is a PRICELINE EXPRESS DEAL. Guest score rated 7/10 (or higher). ...and of course it's right across the street from my favorite property in SLC, the airport Radisson <_< That wasn't showing on HW and didn't want to chance getting the La Quinta on PL. -J.

Just booked 3 nights at the Candlewood Suites SLC Airport using the BB HOTWIRE link. Shows as a 2* property, $45 base a night ($160 a/i for 3 nights). Amenities include: Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Kitchenette Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Note that the BB hotel list shows this as a 2.5* but I guess it's been downgraded. Key feature to figuring it out was the kitchenette though. Haven't stayed at a Candlewood since July 2009 in Wichita but I remember liking it (and the concierge too... ;)). -J.

Just snagged the Radisson SLC airport for $68 base ($82 a/i) using the BB HOTWIRE link. Amenities: Free Parking (sheltered too!) Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Restaurant(s) (not free but it is pretty good) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access (free) Note it's $68 base for 2 guests, looked like the same property was $75 base for 3 guests. YMMV. I stayed here back in December; looked like the downtown Hilton (4*) was $2 cheaper than this but this Radisson is really a fantastic property. Having stayed at hundreds of hotels around the country, I can honestly say this is one of my favorites. -J.

I just bid on a hotel in the Melbourne, FL area, and I got the Extended Stay Deluxe Melbourne-Airport for real cheap! Bid 2.5* $35, rejected Re-bid 2* $37, accepted Taxes and fees $11.54 TOTAL: $48.54 Forgot to use the PRICELINE link because I didn't think I would get it, I was so shocked that I did (this is less than half the median!!!). This was my first time on PL too, I've used HOTWIRE hundreds of times but this is absolutely fantastic :D -J.
