I used the bidding strategy using the PRICELINE link jumping in $5 increments and won the Holiday inn LAX for $70.00. A great saving on there retail price and less than i was going to spend on HOTWIRE. Thankyou for all your help.

Thanks for the advice, I think i will steer clear of Princeville as i have plenty of time and can just wait the 24hrs for a rebid. I will probably end up booking Koa Kea or Sheraton. We will probably split half our trip as well, maybe go up to the Marriot in Lihue or maybe a B and B. Thanks again.
