Thanks for the help, I went with Priceline.Express since I had a coupon to use so it was only 230 total with taxes for the two night stay. Close enough for the beach and satisfied with the price. I"m sure their is a resort fee. If anyone knew what it was they could chime in. Thanks again

Hum, I know it's always a guess so I don't know about taking that chance, what would you think about the same dates and doing Priceline.Express Isle Verde 3.5 stars guest rating 7.0 pool, pets, restaurant, fitness, internet, business and bed choice available and then you can pick poolside room or superior would this be Verdanza Hotel? In this area are there hotels that you know of that have won that are not within walking distance to the beach? Thanks for your help.

Ok, so this is a post cruise hotel booking and we are wanting to see the rain forest so I thought about staying in this area, Hotwire lists this Rio Grande - Farjado ($102) 4 stars FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Resort, Suite, Beachfront hotel, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa Services, Children's actvities, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking It has all amenities and that is such a good deal, I'm trying to see how this can be bad, is there nothing around it so food cost high? Any guesses on what hotel? I would say maybe the Gran Melia?

Okay, I do see your point now about spending less money on beach front, I'm a beach person and we live in a land locked state with 9 months of winter so we have to squeeze in as much beach time as possible which is why I was trying to but maybe we will get the beach time post cruise. Thanks so much for your help. I think I might try for the 3 star in Condado as it seems Holiday Inn Express has good reviews for the price. I'll report back after I book the room.

Yes, I have cruised before (not sure why that matters?) My plane gets in at noon on 17th and yes, I"m willing to pay those prices that I listed. Do you have any guesses on what they might be?

3.5 star in Isla Verde area with these amenities, I think it perhaps is the Courtyard but the resort fee listed as only 12 dollars so I don't know Free Internet Pet friendly Near Beach Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry The 3 star lists these amenities (might be ESJ Towers as at the top it says Book Soon! someone just got ESJ Towers Free Parking Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access I don't like the PRICELINE EXPRESS deals for the Isla Verde area for these dates so I'm looking at the Old San Juan-Codado area for a 4 star it lists ($98) pool, pets, casino, restaurant, fitness, free internet, business center (my guess maybe the Sheraton) for 3.5 stars lists($87) pool, restaurant, fitness, internet, business center for 3 stars ($83) ​pool, fitness, internet, free breakfast, business center (my guess is Holiday Inn Express) Thoughts? Traveling to San Juan pre and post cruise, I'm looking for a hotel for 10/17 and for 10/25-10/27. I want to be on the beach or within a few blocks and I'm looking to spend $85 dollars without taxes and fees as we know by the time I pay those I"m a little over $100. I would prefer Isla Verde and was going to try and bid 3.5 star and hoping to maybe get Courtyard I also looked at Priceline.Express and figured the 2 star would probably be Howard Johnson....looking to stay a little nicer than that however, and I'm willing to pay a little more if I have to. I'm could be fine with staying in Condado but I know the Sheraton is not by the beach right? so 4 star is out but what is anyone's guess on the 3.5 star on the PRICELINE EXPRESS deals.
