Free Parking, Free Internet, Pet Friendly, Smoke-free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool I believe this is a new hotel for the list. No amenity for free breakfast listed but is included in hotel stay.

We enjoyed our stay! The lobby has several options for sitting/gathering including some with VERY large TV's and others centered around a fire pit. The pool area is small and is in full sun. There are no umbrellas and the small trees lining the outside wall provided some shade for the loungers in the morning. There is a $14/day parking fee. The Boardwalk area with restaurants is directly adjacent to the hotel and easily walkable. Several of the restaurants are very highly rated on Yelp and Google. The Biscuit Bar is fantastic for breakfast! Blue Mesa Grill has free quesadillas during HH in the bar.

Free Internet, Business Center, Children's activities, Fitness Center, Pet Friendly, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Smoke Free Rooms. 90 percent recommended and 4.5 stars on Trip Advisor. The only 4 star hotel listed in the Frisco- The Colony area is the Westin Stonebriar. We have never stayed at that fabulous property on the golf course and were hoping it would be that hotel. I think the Westin has a 95 percent recommended rating and this one is 90 percent so that could be a clue to which property it would be. I am, however, happy about this trip. This is a newer property, it gets very high ratings online and you'd be hard pressed to get a room for double what I paid. The Boardwalk at Granite Park has lots of restaurant options within walking distance. The main entertainment area of Frisco (Baseball, Football, Soccer complexes) are less than 10 minutes away.

I just checked San Antonio for 09/04 through 09/06. There is a 4.5 star hotel in the Alamo-RW-CC area that is 95% recommended on Hotwire and has these amenities: Free Internet, Pet Friendly, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center and has accessibility for visually and hearing impaired. I looked at the pinned list and there are NO 4.5 star hotels in this area. I tried to match up the amenities with the 4 star hotels but nothing matches. Do you know if one of the 4 star hotels has recently been upgraded to 4.5 star? Or if the zone has changed and a 4.5 was added? Thanks, Kairosntx

Checked Better Bidding and was pretty sure the 4.5 star listed on Hotwire was the Omni downtown based on the amenities listed. There are only two 4.5 star hotels in this zone on BB, the Joule and the Omni. I wanted the Omni due to my wife having an appointment at the Mokara spa. We usually stay in the Galleria zone for half this price but needed to be downtown this time. I wanted the Omni and that's exactly what I got thanks to Better Bidding! I went to the Omni website and they want $169.

I won on the first try with a bid of $49 (first thought... shoulda gone lower!) HOTWIRE had a 3 star in downtown lubbock for $65 so I got a good deal. I used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link to make my purchase.
