  1. I would prefer to stay near the Power and Light district (north of crown center) but I see all those hotels are sold out on their web sites so I am assuming PRICELINE will not have inventory? Budget - i would have said 75 a night but I realize now it's going to cost me more - 140 (taxes in would be great). 3*+
  2. Rooms seem to be quite expensive. I am hoping to stay near the Power and Light district in downtown KC (Hotel Phillips, Marriott, Aladian, etc). Can you help with bidding strategies to ensure I get the desired area.
  3. Hoping for Wynn Palazzo Venetian or Encore. I am attending a conference and the conference hotel is the Wynn. Dates Nov 08, 2010 to Nov 12 2010. Can you please help with a bidding strategy?
  4. Hello, I only want 5 star hotels on or near the strip. 2 seperate stays: 1) Fri Jan 15-16 2) Tue Jan 19-20 Different hotels is fine, it's actually preferred. Can you offer bidding advice? Thank you :)
  5. It's worth noting that it went up on Expedia etc. so it was almost certainly the avenue.
  6. Went to book it and its not showing up anymore.... any chance of it coming back?
  7. I also noticed that it says 80+ reviews and it has 81 on trip advisor. I'll talk to the boss nad maybe give it a try tongiht. Lets say its not the Avenue - can i count on it being in a convienent location at least based on HOTWIRE's Zones?
  8. So I looked up the Avenue - it looks awesome. But is it possible it is Tremont Hotel as I see they have tennis and non-smoking as well. I haven't bid yet.
  9. OK awesome. What about bidding on PRICELINE? Would you recommend against it? I should elaborate I was thinking of bidding for 4 stars in the NMA zone but am worried i'll get a hotel in a bad location - do you know if that is a possibility?
  10. Thank you sir. Where is the Magnificient Mile? I'd rather have a great location in a clean safe hotel then save an extra $5 or be in an inconvienent location.
  11. My max budget is 150 per night but obviously:D i want to spend less. July is the month.
  12. It's been years since I bid I remember you all helping last time. I am going to be in Chicago from 18 - 21 (3 Nights). I am looking for two things: Bidding Strategies and where should I stay? I am not going ot have a car and want to be close (walking distance) from nice restaurents and shopping etc. It's crucial we are in a safe area (obviously) Thanks in advance for you help.
  13. Boy oh boy oh boy... I am not so smart. Haha: She will need a room from the 11th of April until the 16th of April.
  14. Hi Guys, My bro is getting married in Mexico (Playa Del Carmen). And my mom needs single occupancy in the Royal Porto Real. Cheapest price I can find anywhere is 360 a night. ouch. Any strategies at all. Send me your links. :) Thanks, AspDotNetGuy

  18. I don't see them on the Hotwire hotel list but that doesn't mean they arn't. Our good buddy Theure will probably have a good idea.
  19. Wondering the same... looks like a match for the candlewood but the star rating is off??
  20. Hello I found a hotel in Jersey City and am all but ready to book. I was confident that it was the Candlewood in based on the ammentites but I just looked at the hotel list here on betterbidding and noticed that the candlewood was listed here as 2.5* hotel on hotwire. This is what I am getting (note the ammentities look like a match for candlewood but hotwire is marking it as a 2* not a 2.5* could it be the candle wood still)? If anyone can confirm this is the candlewood i will book right now through this site. Please help. Hoboken - Jersey City - See map Selected amenities include: Fitness Center, Kitchenette, High-Speed Internet Access, Laundry Facilities (self-service). 21. So you'd suggest just booking the hotwire hotel. Is the hyatt alot nicer, safer, more convient? Does anyone know the area to sgguest a hotel that might be closer to the PATH or safer. In the same price range 120.00 or less? Thanks, ASPDOTNETGUY
  22. Re-bdding made perfect sense. Bid as instructed and did not get anything. I added a post in the New Jersey forum please take a look and tell me your thoughts. Thanks for the help I love this site.
  23. I think I found the candlewood for 102.00 on hotwire.com. I think I will just book this unless you can suggest a bidding strategy that might top that or another hotel to look into. The Hyatt is supposed to be nice but it is much more on hotwire. Is the walk from the path system to the candlewood hotel safe late at night. Please let me know you thoughts asap i want to book this well there is still availability.
  24. I am going to NYC with my GF and am curious as to how safe and Convenient communting to Jersey city is at night. I understand it is quite Convenient during the day. Will walking from the Path system to the hotel at midnight or later be risky? Would $100.00 a nght be a fair bid for a 3* from Oct 11 to the 15th? If so can you offer a bidding strategy.
  25. Can someone please give me a quick crash course in rebid zones. I am not sure I understand. I looked around for a sticky post explaining but could not find anything. Thanks,
