  1. I currently see a 4* in the Downtown Area on HOTWIRE for the dates above at a price of $93. According to the Hotwire Hotel List, all three 4* Hotels in the area have the same amenities listed. One thing I did notice is that the Customer rating on TripAdvisor 4.0 out of 5.0. The Hyatt Regency in the area does not get good reviews on TripAdvisor and would likely be a 3.0 out of 5.0 so is it safe to assume that this is for the Hilton or Westin? I'm not quite sure how it works with the Trip Advisor info. Thanks, Chris
  2. Using the betterbidding HOTWIRE link above I booked a room for this coming weekend on HOTWIRE in Saginaw. I thought about trying on PRICELINE where it's been reported as a 2* Hotel but didn't want to take the chance. 3* Four Points Amenities: Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf Thx.
  3. Booked three rooms near the airport because the downtown prices were too high. Never stayed at the Crowne but reviews seem decent. I used the PRICELINE link above. Thanks!
  4. Using the Betterbidding.com PRICELINE link above booked two rooms at the Intercontinental for tomorrow night. Thanks!
  5. Booked a room for one night at the Hilton downtown using the Betterbidding.com PRICELINE link. Thanks as always for the site info.
  6. I went back to book the hotel I initially inquired about and it went up $25 in an hour but there was another 4* Hotel in the Downtown Toronto West area. Here are the details: I booked it for them at a price of $143 USD per night. To be honest, that is way more then I have paid for a Toronto hotel in a long time but it's the long weekend so I guess it's expected. As usual I used the Betterbidding HOTWIRE link above. Thx!
  7. Oops sorry it is Toronto East. Thanks for the quick response!
  8. Trying to book my boss and his family for two nights beginning tomorrow night and started on Priceline in the Dtown South area with bids up to $130 and was rejected. I just noticed there is a 4* Hotel on Hotwire for $135/night with the following ammenities: Fitness - Restaurant - Business Center - High Speed Internet - Spa, 80 % Trip Advisor Reviews I believe there is a chance this could be the Westin Harbour Castle which would be great but I believe it could be another hotel as well. They would prefer to be in the Downtown South area so the Sutton Place would be too far north. Does anyone have a better idea as to which hotel this is? A quick answer would be greatly appreciated! Thanks as always!
  9. My friend and his family are coming to Toronto for one evening in mid August and asked for help booking a hotel downtown. They were happy with any of the 3.5* hotels and up choices so I started bidding at $70 and had my 2nd bid of $75 accepted. I don't know much about this Hyatt but assume it's a good deal given the price. They need two doubles so I suggested they call right away to see if they can request this. I used the Betterbidding PRICELINE link as always. Thanks.
  10. Tried Priceline for the same evening but didn't have any luck up to $105 for a 3.5* and above in the downtown area so booked a friend one room at the Suites for $106. I used the HOTWIRE link above. Thanks.
  11. I have used Priceline for a few years now with the help of this board but lately I have become frustrated with the Priceline site as they aren't sending me confirmations once the hotel has been won/booked. I contacted them and they say they have fixed the issue but I'll have to wait till my next booking. My current problem is every time I bid now I get a window which says the following: Which means I have to wait a minimum of 15 minutes between every bid. This is a big pain and I am curious to know if others are having similar issues. Regards.
  12. Going to the west island for a family wedding next December and needed a cheap hotel close to venue so booked the Comfort Inn at $38 (three rooms). Hopefully, the accomodations are decent but for the price not sure what we can expect. Used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link to access my purchase.
  13. Thanks to the betterbidding.com bid above, I was able to book a friend a room at the Hilton for later in July at a great price of $69. Thanks!
  14. Using the PRICELINE link above booked the Marriott for one night later this week before flying out of Buffalo. Great rate for this convenient property. Thanks!
  15. Booked a friend a room at the Delta Chelsea for one night using the Betterbidding PRICELINE link. Thanks!

  17. My wife and I are going to be staying at this DoubleTree in a few weeks while I am at a conference. Curious to know if there are things you would recommend closeby (Factory outlets, sightseeing etc) for my wife while I am at the show.
  18. Booked a rental car using the PRICELINE link for 10 days in L.A. Started bidding at $12 and won with a $16 bid a few days later. Thanks.
  19. Mandagirl thanks for your help but by the time I saw your post it was too late. Thanks anyways!
  20. Very strange indeed. Because of booking reasons I had to book directly with a hotel by the Airport for this time. If it were me I would have booked the cheaper Hotwire options in the airport area but not able to for my guests. I will continue to watch Hotwire and Priceline for Toronto on Wednesday night.
  21. I have never had a problem booking hotels downtown Toronto but for some weird reason there is absolutely no availability for this Wednesday night. Does anyone know why this is the case? I need two room under $150 Cdn for two guests but when you see the Bond Hotel on Expedia for over $600 for one night and one room you know something is up. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
  22. Booked a colleague a room for one night at the Marriott - Buffalo/Amherst. As usual I used the PRICELINE link above. Thanks!
  23. First time to L.A. and it was suggested we try for the new W Hollywood. With many wins around $119 on Priceline, I thought I'd start at $99 and bid up from there. Unfortunately, I got confused and selected the wrong area. When it accepted my first bid at $99 I wasn't sure what to think and was a little disappointed when I realize I selected Beverly Hills - West Hollywood. It sounds like the Hyatt is a nice hotel just maybe not in the ideal location but we'll have a car so it should be okay. Any feedback on restaurants, bars, shopping in the area would be appreciated. Thanks for the all the feedback posted previously and I used the PRICELINE link above to book our stay.
  24. Booked my sister and her friends one night at the Delta Chelsea for mid April. They wanted a pool and hot tub so got exactly what they were looking for. I used the PRICELINE link to start my bidding at $53 and won with a $55 bid plus fees/tax. Thanks!
  25. Booked my cousins at the Hilton - Toronto for two nights in a few weeks. They are ectastic as the rate on their website was over $239 Cdn plus tax per night. A savings of $360 Cdn I believe. I started bidding at $65 and made our way up to $76. As usual used the PRICELINE link above each time. Thanks!
