Hi Sassy, As I mentioned during our previous conversation, you can't specifically pick a hotel in the area but as long as you are flexible with any hotel in the Dtown south area of a certain * rating you should have plenty of options. If you'd like to try for one of the 4* Hotels in the Priceline - Downtown South area you will likely end up with the Sheraton, Hyatt Regency, Intercontinental on Front, Renaissance or Hilton in that area which are all close to the ACC. There are a few others you could win but these seem to be the most common. What I generally do is check Hotwire first for the same dates by clicking the HOTWIRE link above on betterbidding. When I check the dates you are looking for I see there is a 4* Hotel in the Downtown Toronto East area for $119 a night plus tax. If you were cool with that price you could easily book that on Hotwire but if you want to give Priceline a try here is what I would suggest. Click on the PRICELINE link above. When you get the PRICELINE link click Bid on Name Your Own Price - Hotel and select the dates you are interested in then click bid now to take you to next screen. There are many different 4* re-bid zones in the Downtown Toronto area so you have a number of tries each day to try and get a good price. Because I typically find Hotwire to be $15 per night more expensive then Priceline I would suggest clicking on Downtown Toronto South, then select 4* Deluxe. Then enter a bid of maybe $85, include your name and then payment info on the next page. Verify that your info is correct and then enter payment info then click "Buy My Hotel Room Now". Chances are you won't win it with your first bid but better to start low in case you can win it then big too high and leave money on the table. Does that make sense so far? Then once you've made you first bid we can add other zones with the 4* Downtown Toronto South Zone and bid a few dollars more. The key here is to only select a re-bid zone that doesn't have 4* hotels in it. You will notice that there are quite a few hotel zones in the entire Toronto area which don't have 4* hotels (IE Brampton, Burlington, Don Valley etc). I am sure others can explain it alot easier then I can but that's why I suggested you post on here. Let me know if this makes sense. Good luck and keep us updated as the first time could be a long process but you will definitely save some money.
