So i took a gamble and booked all 6 nights for the 2* in Anaheim North. I ended up getting the Ramada Limited Maingate North. Not extremely excited about that one based on reviews and their own website photos. After i booked i called the hotel to request non-smoking and 2 queens. The person at the front desk told me i only had 1 queen?!?! I didn't know those types of room still existed. I mentioned that Hotwire guarantees quad occupancy, which i booked, and he said I could pay $10 more per night to upgrade. Ummmm, no thanks! So i called Hotwire this time and spoke to a super nice and helpful rep who contacted the hotel and confirmed what they had told me. He said they would pay the extra charge or relocate me. I asked to be relocated and ended up getting Best Western Raffles in Anaheim South. By all appearances a nicer property and a better value for what i spent ($45 per night). Thanks for educating me on the Priceline and Hotwire ways and I will use your links again in the future!
