  1. There is only 3 zones, Palm Springs, Rancho and Indio All three zones would be fine I am trying to get a 3* hotel and try to avoid the ones that charge resort fees. Thanks for the FAQ timing topic, but anyone knows about the rate behavior on this specific tournament? Thanks
  2. Hi, I am looking for a deal for finals weekend of the Indian Wells Masters 1000 tournament. Its still about a month away so i have not strike any deals yet. Do I stand a better chance of getting a better deal at the last moment? Say 2 days prior to the dates? (March 14 to 18) My budget is 65 per night (plus taxes and fees). As always i use PRICELINE link provided by betterbidding. Regards
  3. I made the reservation using the PRICELINE link provided by betterbidding. Started with a $45 bid, they asked me to pay $56 and get my reservation but declined and kept adding re-bid zones. Finally $50 was accepted. Total with taxes and fees is $64 In the Arizona Hotel List is shown as a 4* hotel, priceline has it as a 3.5* I have stayed here before and it is a nice property.
  4. I used the PRICELINE link provided by betterbidding as i always do The reservation was done with the first try of $35, it is a good deal but I don't know if it's the lower bid they would accept.
  5. Started with a $50 bid and a 4* minimum. I started bidding on the same day of check-in (Dec-29) There is a $20 dollar resort fee (for every reservation, not just for priceline users), even if it is still a good deal it feels like they are luring bidders with a lower price just to hit us with that fee.
  6. Started with a 38 bid, and increased bidding by 3 or 4 dollars every time adding bidding zones without a 3.5* hotel. total with tax and fee is $64.67.
  7. I booked through the PRICELINE link provided by betterbidding. First bid was $50 and was rejected, then I tried 51, 52, 53 and 54 adding a bidding zone each time until the $55 bid was accepted. Based on the previous posts I was shooting for this exact hotel. Tripadvisor has the hotel ranked #8 in Tucson so it should be a very nice stay
  8. I used the PRICELINE link provided by betterbidding. I got the room on my first bid at $37, the total was $50.38 with taxes and fees. Even if its very close to the airport there is hardly any airplane noise in the hotel.
  9. I got this hotel for a total of $46 with taxes and fees through the express deal. Breakfast was below average
  10. First try was $40, was asked to bid again for $47, instead added another zone and bid $42. Total of $105.60 with taxes for two nights
  11. Be ware, the hotel charges you an extra resort fee of $15 usd per night which covers internet, an appetizer, a 1 hour bike ride and so on. I asked for a complimentary breakfast ans said they could give me 10% off so i passed. Having said that the grounds are very nice and well maintained, its in a good location too, 2 miles from scottsdale fashion square
  12. I was trying hard for a 3.5 or 4* hotel in scottsdale or phoenix downtown, starting yesterday with $50 and went as high as $77 with no luck, on my first try adding a 3* with a $50 bid got this hotel.
