Booked at $56 day of arrival. Last night it was $50 (next time I will know!). Best rate online was $102 or $92 w/AAA.

Hit me with a wet noodle...I forgot to go through this site to bid. Only my second time using Priceline, I utilized the "second chance" option. Originially put in $54, denied, and the second chance option for 3*** was an additional $13 (or $67) if I bid again right now. I saved about $89 for the two nights vs the cheapest AAA rate on the hotel website. Better yet, saved $118 over the two nights over the other 3*** hotel I had reservations for that included breakfast. $118 can buy ALOT of breakfast! Will start though this site next time, I promise!

Fist time using Priceline. Went through the PRICELINE link on this site and bid $38 and rejected. Since it was my first time and I was experimenting, and needed a hotel night in two days, I later tried again and was successful at $62 ($77 with fees and tax)on first bid. Saved about $40. Got the new (August 2011) Holiday Inn which was very nice and would recommend. Husband had a crick in his neck due to the too fluffy pillows. <_<
