  1. I took your advice, and went with PRICELINE EXPRESS. The Andaz was in fact the hotel listed at $338/night. That was exactly the hotel I was hoping to get! Thank you for all your help!!
  2. Thereuare, Thank you for the advice! I think I will raise my max bid to $350. Should I just shift your original bidding strategy by $75 dollars and rebid? Best, BidWarrior
  3. Completed both rounds of bidding unsuccessfully. Thank you so much for the help and bidding strategy. Back to the drawing board!
  4. I just went through the first round of bidding, unsuccessfully. Will update when I try again. Thank you!
  5. thereuare, Sorry for not replying to the thread originally. Will definitely do so here. Your help is much appreciated!
  6. Sorry for not posting a reply to this thread after bidding. If my memory (and email) serves me correctly, I did not follow through with bidding in Napa and changed plans. Thanks, BidWarrior
  7. Hello all, Can you please help me with a bidding strategy for a 4.5* in Wailea for February 11 through February 15? Looking to top out at 275/night. Thanks, BidWarrior
  8. I am looking for a 4* hotel in Napa. My max bid is $100. Attempting to stay in Napa for one night (April 21). Was hoping to get a bid strategy. Thanks!
  9. So, I was unsuccessful in my bidding. Decided to go with another budget hotel located near Montmartre. Looked good on tripadvisor, so I am hoping it is okay. Thank you all for your help. I will be back soon.
  10. You mention OQE in the first bidding cycle. Did you mean OQW? OQW is my first choice. Thank you!
  11. Exactly. I would like to stay in OQW for up to $170. Then if that is rejected re-try including OQE & Germain/LQ. Thank you so much for your assistance throughout the process.
  12. I have not made any 4* bids yet. I am looking for a 4* in OQW, OQE, and St. Germain/Latin Quarter. My first preference is in OQW, but am amenable to bidding on the other two, if I don't initially get what I want. I would like my max bid to be $170. Thank you
  13. thereuare, My budget is a little tight for this trip and am now entertaining a 4*. I have found this hotel Hotel Gabriel Paris Marais, but I would definitely like to get something a little more central. As of right now, I am looking at 4* only in the OQW, but would be willing to add 4* in zone 8 & zone 10. Your thoughts?
  14. athereuare, Thank you for the response. My main concern is being in a nice hotel room that is in a good area. I have stayed in a shady place before in Paris and it completely ruined my experience. With that said, how do you recommend I proceed?
  15. Thanks for the help. I was rejected on all my bids. In your experiences, should I continue or move on?
  16. Set to arrive on May 15 and depart May 18. Thanks for the help.
  17. I am looking for a 5* Paris hotel, preferably in the Opera West area. I would like my max bid to be $250. Is that too low? Should I also consider 4* in the area? Thank you in advance for any help.
