Bid thru the PRICELINE link :) First bid.. for 2 rooms , 3 nights each.. may have over bid slightly.. I''m happy anyway, less than 1/2 the going rate if not more after taxes.
Bid low, then up to $130. At $130 was given a "opportunity to spend $22 more" for a room. Rebid up to $135 and got the Westin as expected. Interestingly, the Westin shows fully booked on Starwoods Site....
Bid 4* up to $110 with rebids. Started again at 3* level $80, went up in $5 increments. Hit on $95. Hotel is asking $240 + a night for a direct booking.
Bid for three star with no luck , lowered hotel to a 2 1/2 star and won quickly. $55 usd a night. Hotel is Comfort Suites in the east end of town. Canada Summer games are on, so I was happy to get anything.
