Thanks for such a quick response! Our budget is around $500 - $550 for the five nights, so roughly around 100 a night. If we were to spit up our bid, what would you recommend for Saturday night and then Sunday - Thursday? Again, we would be interested in any 5* hotel in the north or south part of the strip.
Thanks!
Hello Everyone!
I am brand new to the site, and already thoroughly impressed. I would love to get some help from the vets though....
My girlfriend and I are leaving for vegas on Saturday, 3/17 and staying through 3/22 (Sat. thru Thurs.). Due to some changing circumstances (PH towers changing ownership and being reduced to a 3.5 star rating), we have the opportunity to get our money back and book a new hotel.
I'm looking into bidding with priceline. First I wanted to make sure that the Palazzo, Venetian, and Wynn (Not TRUMP) were the only 3 in the northern strip region for 5* and Aria, Cosmo, and Vdara were the only 3 in the southern strip region.
If this is the case, any idea where you guys would recommend a starting bid? I'd be extremely happy at any of these 6 hotels.
As far as 4 stars go, is it still just Mirage and TI in the north?
Thanks a bunch guys, and again, extremely impressed with the site. Will do all I can to promote!
Las Vegas $20 trick?

Ok guys I have a question. I am only 21 years old, but have been reading these posts on the $20 trick. I'm not sure where my girlfriend and I are staying yet, but hopefully a 5 star hotel on the south part of the strip (Cosmo, Vdara, Aria). My question is whether yall think the trick has any chance of working since I am so young. I kind of feel like a 21 year old won't be taken seriously, especially since they know I'm probably no high roller.
Any suggestions?
