Tried Priceline first going up to $115 for Newton or Waltham. Since those were rejected, I went with Framingham via Hot.wire. List of amenities, after winning bid. Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Airport Shuttle., Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access. I used HOTWIRE link on this page.

Bids from $75 to $110 over 3 days, using cities without 3 /12* hotels. Was hoping to get the Marriott in Newton, but the Indigo is nice enough. Note that the Hotel Indigo is now a three ½ star hotel. As always, I used your PRICELINE link and also the HOTWIRE link for information.

The hotel was fine. Spiffy room. Bathroom rather small. Covered parking only $9 per day. Would be willing to go back.

Bid $62. Accepted. Note that the Crowne Plaza is now a three star hotel. I guess that the improvements and changes caused the upgrading from 2 1/2 to 3 stars.

Had been trying for 3* hotel in Newton/Waltham. $50 and $55 rejected. Swithched to 3 1/2* at $75.00. Got it at the first try. With taxes and fees it comes to $92. I used your PRICELINE link to bid.

Tried 3* in Newton-Waltham and then added Bedford-Burlington. Started at $50 and went to $70. Did not want to get the Crowne Plaza in Newton so changed strategy to bidding on 3 1/2 * hotels. Bid $99 for Newton-Waltham, which was rejected. Added Bedford-Burlington. at $105 and got the Doubletree Hotel Boston/Bedford Glen Used your link to PRICELINE.

Hi, I'm bidding on a 4* hotel in downtown Seattle for June 12, 2008 for 3 nights. Started with $120, which was rejected. I waited the required 24 hours and tried $122 and then $125. Both were rejected. Today I tried adding zones that I was confident did not have 4* hotels, such as Lake Union, Lynwood, Bothell and Everett. Now I am up to $130, but still no luck. This seems strange, as other bidders ahve been successful with bids of $130 or less. Also last week my cousin was successful bidding $120 for the same period. He ended up with the Westin. Should I just keep adding zones such as Seattle University and North Everett and increasing my bids? Or should I start over with another strategy, maybe going for a 3* hotel? Thanks.
