Stockbridge, on the south side of Atlanta seems like a good place for us to stop via our road trip to FL. I see this as an area to choose on Priceline and Hotwire, but can't find on better bidding! Please help!

Express deal gives $112 price/night for dates 3/26 - 3/29 Amenities include free internet, parking and breakfast. Indoor or outdoor pool, fitness center and business center. Any idea? Also, are you more likely to get a better discount by bidding?

I ended up taking a bit of a gamble and bidding on Price.line even though it was risky that we might end up in a boutique hotel without 2 beds. I also was not super strategic in my bidding, I just wanted below the best price Hot.wire had to offer ($303/night). I won Sheraton in SOHO at $275 and that was my first bid! I'm happy with this, as I know they have 2 bed rooms available. Also, great reviews too.

Thanks so much for the info! The dates are Dec 5-8. Would like to spend under $300/night and also would like a 4 star if feasible. 3.5 star might be ok, but since it's a birthday celebration I want something nice :)

I'm taking my mom and sister to NYC for a girls weekend the first weekend in December. Questions: What would be a good area for a girls weekend? I'm thinking Soho, Chelsea area because they are more quiet and trendy spots? Also, if I bid via Price.line, is there a way to be sure I'll get 2 beds?

Upped my bid to $210 and FINALLY won 4* Alex Hotel in Midtown East. Ended up not being much of a deal when I looked at the actual website listed non-refundable booking for $208 from the hotel website. Either way, great deal for a 4* this time of year...

We ended up changing our plans... Cayman Islands wasn't looking to be the deal we were hoping for so we did Disney World instead.
