3* hotel in Ka'anapali for 10/10 -10/12 for $139/night. Amenities are Beachfront, Pool, Restaurant, Laundry Facilities, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby. Looks like Ka'anapali Villas. Can you help? Would I be better off tryigh Priceline? Thanks.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on 9/6/05. Got the hotel through Priceline for $70. The location was great.. right in downtown, near the Library. Walking distance to Pike Place. We were able to get the non-smoking king as requested. Front desk staff was quite pleasant. However, the hotel itself is quite old and a bit run-down (including elevators, rooms, pool, etc.). Our room was clean..however a bit small. Overall, not a bad choice for $70/night. But I wouldn't pay full price for this hotel.

Got 3.5* in Downtown Seattle (Warwick) for $105 for 9/9-9/10. Same exact amenities as listed in Hotwire Hotel List forum.

Thanks for your reply. I tried again on Priceline ..for 4* ..the last re-bid was for $124 (rejected). Finally bought 3.5* (Warwick) from Hotwire. Will post that winning on Hotwire forum. Thanks for all your help. This website is truly awesome!

Hi, My 3rd time trying for Seattle 3* downtown hotel (tried all free re-bids) also. Need for 9/9-9/10...my last bid of $90 was rejected. Just a few days ago, got Renaissane for $70 for Tuesday (9/6) night. Thought $90 offer was pretty decent for a 3* (saw a few ppl got 4* for $100). Am I missing anything?? any suggestion/advice is appreciated! Thanks!

1st attempt: $60 2nd: $66 3rd: $70 4th: $73 All rejected :) oh well...better luck in 72 hours, I guess.

Finally got 4* for $84...probably could have got it for lower. But all my bids were rejected yesterday (including the free re-bids) and was getting impatient. Had my husband bid today. 1st bid: $60 rejected 2nd bid: $75 rejected 3rd bid: $84 accepted :) Should probably have tried $80 first. But $84 is still a really great price. Total cost for 2 nights was $196... Expedia would have cost me almost $400!! All thanks to this website.. I LOVE it! I'm telling all my friends about this forum.

Got my first win on Priceline! :) Downtown Seattle Entertainment District - Renaissance hotel for $70. My first bids of $50 and $60 were rejected.

Thank you, thereuare. What a great website and forum! I'm so glad I found it! I think I now have a better idea of re-bidding strategy. My only concern is that unlike Hotwire, Priceline has just Vancouver for Vancouver downtown, and doesn't specify whether downtown west, entertainment district, etc. I just worry about ending up in unsafe areas of downtown. But as long as I stick to 3-stars or above, I should be fine? My maximum currently is 3* for $85 and 4* for about $100 - $110. Is this even reasonable? Thank you very much for your help.

Hi, I'd like to book a hotel in Vancouver (downtown..preferably downtown west) for Sept. 7-9. Hopefully a 4*..but 3* is fine too. I've never used Priceline before and am a bit confused regarding re-bidding and the zones. Any advice or strategies will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
