Greetings.....won bid (68.00) for the Westin long beach for the night of Nov. 27, 2010. Would you happened to know how far it is to Carnival's pier and how far it is and how much it might cost from longbeach airport to the Westin? tks alot

Just book a room @ Caribe Hilton for $ 70.00 a night on "PRICELINE".....April 19 thru April 21, 2007. First tried 60.00 Second try 65.00 third try got it for $70.00 Marked the location as "resort" in San Juan...... QUESTION: How far is it from the airport and how far is it from the cruise dock? Also any ideas on what might the taxi fare might be.... thanks for any information

Greetings.....I also am going on a cruise leaving Dec. 4 and needed a room for Dec. 3rd. Got a room at the Hyatt in downtown Miami for Dec. 3 for 70.00. I started my bidding at 50.00 and worked my way up to 70.00. I kepted my search area only in the 4* catigory and only wanted a nice hotel in the downtown area for the port is just across the street. Hope this helps you out, for I also am new to this......

Thanks everyone for the reassurance and good advise. Our family and extended family are really looking forward to this cruise that we booked last March. Being out here in the northwest we only get what the media puts out and sometimes they don't cover what we want to know.....Thanks again everyone......this is a great web site.

Greetings.......Back in Sept. I had won a bid on a downtown Miami 4 * hotel (Hyatt Regency) for stay on Dec. 2 and 3 . Since that time the area was hit hard by Hurricane Wilma. What are my rights for this room since the storm. I would like to have some idea what to expect. The local news in Washington State says the power might take as long as 4 weeks to restore. Any ideas.....

Glad to report that after reading everything I could about the bidding prices for a 4 star hotel in downtown Miami I got a deal that I thought was a great price at the right hotel. Check in was for Dec. 2 and check out was for Dec. 4. My offer of $ 77.00 a night was accepted at the Hyatt downtown location. Do you think what I paid was a good deal ? Thanks everybody for all your great help. This is a great site for anybody who wants to get a handle on hotel cost when traveling....
