  1. Did further research after my initial post about the Staybridge Suites London - Vauxhall, and was very pleased with the hotel and reviews. Decided to change the dates for just the first 3 nights of our stay. Ended up with the same Hot Rate hotel, but for $141/night. Your guess was spot-on. Very happy with the rate and the hotel! Having plenty of time, I will continue to look for a hotel for the last 3 nights. On behalf of travellers everywhere, thank you very much for your continued service!

  12. I meant $150/night. As we have made no other plans & never been to Chicago, I figured the general areas around the Chicago Theatre- Loop, Downtown, Mag.Mile-River North. My main thought is to have the nicest hotel within our budget that is convenient to good shopping, restaurants, sights, etc. We certainly are not opposed to public transportation, but would rather keep such trips as short as possible.
  13. Hello. I am looking for a 4* or better hotel in Chicago for the dates of October 15 through 18. My wife & I are attending a show at The Chicago Theatre one the nights. I am hoping to book at around $1250/night or less. I look forward to any help you can be. Thank you for your continued efforts on our behalf.
  14. Thanks for your help! It paid off. I got the Intercontinental Barclay for $190/night. More than I was planning on spending initially, but by reading more on your site, I was able to guess the hotel and pinpoint a price range that I wouldn't mind spending to get it. With a little luck and a lot of knowledge gained from you, it all worked out pretty well.
  15. Thanks for the response, and the info. What is a realistic price range for a 4* hotel during these dates? I was using $120 as a benchmark as I had seen it used repeatedly on this site, but obviously for different dates. How long before the trip would be the best time to book using bids on Priceline, or does it matter? As you have requested, I have used the links here to check PL & HW, and I will continue to do so. I appreciate your assistance, and your continued effort with this site.
