sheraton has a best price gaurantee, so booked sheraton old san jaun hotel for $175/per night (price found on Expedia). was only slightly more than courtyard....so will see, if anything comes up better on hotwire closer to the time, can always cancel the sheraton. thanks for your help. will post again if hotel changes prior to our trip. ov

Going to be in San Juan pre-cruise for two nights. Looking for a centrally located hotel. Hotwire has two options: one is 3.5* hotel, near beach, restaurant, pool, business, center, and laundry (self-service) - which i think might be the normandie, for $117; the other is 3* hotel, restaurant, pool, fitness center, high-speed internet, near tennis, business center, for $125 - not really sure what it is. Really wanted the sheraton old san jaun, but looks to either be sold out or way more expensive than we wanted to spend (>$250/night). Thanks for any help.
