Sounded like a great idea, but when I clicked to reserve it, it was almost $200 with taxes and fees! Maybe I will choose one of the cheaper ones to protect myself with and then keep trying. The last time I stayed in SJ I paid 108 for a resort with PRICELINE, that is why I am so hesitant to spend almost double that! Thanks so much for the help - great site you have here.

Thanks for the website! The cheapest one is $115, but most are $150 and up. Is there a time that is good for bidding that seems to get a better deal? Or should we wait until closer to the date?

I am trying to bid on a 3*+ in san juan for March 10/11, 2012. So far no luck all the way up to $114, which makes it around $140 - which seems like a lot given what people have gotten for bids before. Do you have any advice that could be helpful? Thanks in advance!
