After trying for weeks on Priceline, Hotwire, various rental car sites, buying an Entertainment Book (thankfully it was onsale!), I finally got a really good deal on Hotwire. Previously the price on Hotwire hovered between $21.95 - $23.95. I tried up to $22 on Priceline and got rejected. FINALLY today I went to Hotwire on a whim and checked and there was an economy car at PDX for $14.95/day. Total was $40.90 after taxes. Hoorah! Now, after I booked it, I'm checking again and the price is fluctuating between $16.95 - $17.95.
