HOTWIRE appears to be more user friendly (amenities shown) and easier to use. If they in fact inflate the stars and pocket the difference, profitability balloons. You pay $10 to $30 more per room.

Cut-off dates were 10/16 - 10/18. Used PRICELINE link on this page to make offer. $50 was rejected. I had been using TOBB site, but suspect it is no longer functioning.

Based on board recommendations, wanted this hotel. Started early not knowing when they would offer excess rooms. Some offer early until they reach quota, others late to salvage what they can. Marriott in other locations starts early based on past experience, with weekends easier to get.

Thinking about $50 for3* Central location near underground. Some priceline hotels in some areas get raves other areas not that good. Any advise or hints?
