  1. Just wanted to let you know that I won my bid for this resort for $150 for Monday November 18th through Friday November 22nd. I bid a few times and started at $125 and eventually made my way up to $150. I saw that another user got a room at the Westin Resort nearby for $170 a night and thought that was where I was going to end up. I am thankful I was able to save a little money on the room. From the pictures I have seen on TripAdvisor, the property looks fantastic!
  2. FYI...bid on a 4 star on the South Strip back in October and got 3 three rooms at the Planet Hollywood. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $90.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 3 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 3 Room Subtotal: $810.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $120.51 (USD) Total Room Cost: $930.51 (USD)
  3. I'm jealous! I would love to stay at the Wynn for anything under $100 a night...anyway...the AEE is the week of the 16th so that's probably why you couldn't swing a deal at the Wynn.
  4. FYI...won a bid on the Hyatt Regency in Downtown STL. Initial bid was for a 4 Star Hotel in Downtown STL for $40. That got rejected so I added the option of a 3.5 star hotel with a bid of $43 and that did the trick. I love your site so keep up the good work!
  5. Hello! Doesn't look like too many people are travelling to Houston at the end of June so I will be the first to report a win to post on the calendar. I bid on hotels in the Hobby Airport area. Unfortunately, there are no 4-5 star hotels in this part of Houston, only 3 star hotels. I put in an initial bid of $40, not expecting to win a room at this price. I won a room at the Holiday Inn for Friday and Saturday night. On Holiday Inn's website, the average rate for this room is $79 per/night. My friend and I only have to pay $101 (including taxes) between the both of us for the weekend.
  6. I used the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins to help get 2 rooms for $55/night for the dates of 01/20 - 01/22. I know that with taxes and resort fees I will still pay roughly $70-$75 a night but that is still cheaper that the one room I was going to pay for at the Luxor for $90/night. I have never used priceline.com to get a hotel before so I was skeptical at first but with all the helpful information on this site, I will definitely try and purchase from priceline again. Thank you so much and I hope people keep posting all their wins to help others like me.
