Priceline list/names as Downtown, even though it is on Tunnel Rd. To confirm, I bid on #10 zone(Downtown), $129, then added zone 9(Candler, which only has a 1* hotel) and won with a $131 bid. And looking on their zone maps, it falls on the top-left border of the #4 zone, East/Tunnel Rd.

Seeing a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal was available at $142 in the area, and having offered really lowball bids the day before, I thought I could win just under the $142. Started at $129, Downtown, then went to $131(adding #9, Candler). Really happy with result. I hope the experience is just as good. Thanks for being here, Betterbidding.

I doesn't list any amenities, no icons. It's the sixth hotel listed in the search I did several times over.

Nevermind. Figured it out. Bid $55 on 2.5* and didn't win. Then $38 on 2* and didn't win. Then $65 on 3* and won. Won 3* Courtyard by Marriott...$81 total, 1 night, includes tax and fees. Have to pay to park. But connected to Detroit People Mover, so no cab needed. Can get to the Joe, no problem. And I used the PRICELINE link.

We're going to a concert on Saturday 3/3, and would like a 2-3* hotel downtown for the lowest price. Highest star, lowest price. Can do $119+tax/fees at HI Exp, but would love to cut it to $100 total. I just need a bid strategy please.
