  1. started bidding on 4* only, adding a city zone for each re-bid, since i know the 4* are only downtown: 89, 95, 101, 124, 127, 135 - all rejected I ran out of zones and had to book the room so I searched for express deals, choices were 4* for 188, or 3.5* for 63, bought the 3.5* Ended up winning the Sheraton Memphis Downtown Hotel, it looks pretty nice and better than where I stayed last time (Crowne Plaza) not that the crowne plaza was bad, the sheraton is better and i can collect starwood points I'm pleased as always with PRICELINE, thanks to betterbidding.com and fellow users it's easier to understand the process and get better wins
  2. started by checking which zones had 5* it was just white house downtown, and foggy bottom georgetown, selected just white house to start and bid 125, declined selected zones that did not have 5* zones while adding to my bid, 130, 140, 151, 169, 171, 172, 173, all declined i know i could have selected another * level, but was determined to see how much it would be, was going to stop in the 180's or when i ran out of zones finally won at 174, the park hyatt in foggy bottom georgetown
  3. accepted on the first bid, probably could have got it for less if i started lower but didn't want to take the risk of being too far to walk to everything, this is a fantastic site.
  4. this property is in fact in downtown south, in the heart of the fashion district, a word to those going to stay here, hit the gym hard because it is full of beautiful people and is staffed by lots of models, the pool is nice too, saltwater and on the roof
  5. started by bidding $85 for White House - Downtown didn't win, but added georgetown foggy bottom and made the bid 90 and won easily probably should have bid 86, but what's 8 more dollars
  6. probably could have got the car for less, at first i bid 16, but when i logged in the date changed to tomorrow, i had to pay a $16 service charge to cancel, even if i went to another travel site, it would have still cost more if you included the fee, i would say i lucked out
  7. I put the wrong dates. This was for a stay between 9/4/09 through 9/9/09.
  8. i started bidding way down low at 70, then 76, then 80, then 90, then 120 it seems to be one of those nice trendy places so i will be sure to write a review about it for those who are interested
  9. very nice hotel, was doing some construction around the lobby but it was still nice
  10. I think I probably overpaid a few (probably 25), but it is still cheaper than if I booked directly with Hilton. It was 177.24 after taxes and I booked it book 07/20/2006. Now Paris can buy 1/10th of a $1500 purse with my money.
