Thanks for the info....tried bidding up to $190 and didn't get anything. In light of some of the express deals and prepay deals at some hotels I looked at I will wait and try again. Could that $196 PRICELINE EXPRESS deal you mentioned below be something other than the Empire? As we're at the Met our last night with an early departure in the morning, that hotel might work as I'm assuming it is close to the subway.

Thanks....Chinatown was showing under the Regular Price List as an area.....forgot to use the zones listed in the name your own price list (haven't bid for a while!) Based on the list Coney Island, Morningside Heights-Harlem and Queensborough Bridge are the three re-bid zones for 4* hotels. Also appreciate your comments about the hotels not close to subway lines. So I would consider the TS, MSG, ESB areas as well as your recommended MTW location . Ideally would like to stay under $200US but not sure this is feasible for May. Thanks again for your help!

Looking for a 4* hotel for 3 nights in NYC...looks like Chinatown and Harlem are the two rebidding zones that can be used...is this correct? Would like to be in the Times Square or another central area to transit...considering MTE, MSG areas as well. We will be a the Met one night and a broadway show another night so want to be central. Any insight on rebidding ideas would be appreciated....have checked Pricelne/Hotwire prices and all seem to be over $300 Canadian....is it possible for something in the $200-$250 rate? Thanks! Tried bidding again...up to $190 and no luck for a 4 star in Waikiki beach. Checked out Hotwire and they had a hot rate deal for a 4 star, Waikiki Beach Area for $181- free internet, near beach, smoke free rooms, self service laundry, fitness centre, business centre, pool(s), golf nearby. Do you know what hotel this could be - don't want to have to pay a resort fee on top of this rate. Yes, will only use the links from this site. Thanks,

No haven't been bidding on the Marina or Citycentre areas....just Waikiki Beach at this time.

I am using Airport, Diamondhead and Executive as my rebid zones....at this time only want to stay in the Waikiki area if we can get the right price (have stayed at the Outrigger on the Beach before not using Priceline but through a hotel special). Thanks,

After multiple tries for Buffalo/Amherst for a 3.5 bidding up to $120 added Buffalo Downtown and got the Hyatt. Happy with our choice.

Trying to secure a 4* in Waikiki....have bid using three rebid zones up to $195.00 for January 12-15, 2014. Should I wait a while and bid closer to the date or will I have to bid higher? I can get the Outrigger and other hotels from $230 plus on line at this time. Thanks

Used PRICELINE link on this site. Have been bidding for 4*Gaslamp Quarter hotels up to $125 for a few days and Downtown and Harbor Island 4* hotels up to $100. Tried tonight and got the Westin for $91 which is a good price despite the additional $32 valet parking fee.

Used this PRICELINE link and bid multiple times up to $105 for a 4star in Pasadena. Then bid $75, $78 and was successful at $82 for the Sheraton Hotel 3.5 star which was much cheaper than the Old Town Marriott where we had stayed previously.
