Used the PRICELINE link on this site. I have been monitoring this car rental for several weeks bidding $15-$18 for mid-size through full-size. All those bids were rejected. Yesterday, Priceline made a counter-offer of $22 per day for a full-size, but I declined.

Just used the PRICELINE link on this site to book a full-size Alamo out of Lihue, Kauai from March 25, afternoon through March 28 2013, late evening. This is technically a four-day rental. I have been bidding this between $25 and $28 per day for months. I suspect that they start looking at inventory about 30-days out from the date in question and then allow price cuts if they think they will have unused equipment.

I have been bidding $18 per day since mid November requesting a Full-sized or Standard out of Tampa International (TPA). I finally scored a standard at this rate today. This will be a ten day rental with Avis.

Please accept a Newbie apology. It was for a mid size.

I just got a 11-day rental on Priceline @ $18 per day through AVIS in Bangor, ME. I have been working on this bid for the past 6 months never bidding higher than $18 per day. It appears that the price just broke lower 60-days in advance on my desired rental dates (June 10- June 21, 2012.
