Based on a previous post that won this hotel at $51, I decided to try my luck also. I started at $45 and was given a counter for $58 which I rejected. I increased my bid to $49 then finally $51. I was a bit bummed to find out it costs $27/day to park there but can't have it all. :)
Hello,
Just wanted to clarify that I decided NOT to go with the hotwire hotel but instead used Priceline to bid for a hotel instead since the Hotwire Worcester-Auburn region was so wide. ( I needed to be close to Worcester.)
I used Priceline to bid in the Worcester Auburn area starting at $45, increasing to $50 then finally $54.
I originally wanted to stay in Worcester, MA but I just could not believe how expensive the hotels in that area are so decided that Auburn would be a better alternative.
Actually, I have two bookings for this hotel. The first one is from 1/11/12 to 1/13/12 for $54/night. Then I had to do another bid from 1/10/12 to 1/11/12 and was able to get it to be $52/night after several tries. (I started out with $45, went up to $49 then $52).
Hello,
Hotwire is listing a 2.5 stars Worcester-Auburn hotel with complimentary internet and high speed internet for $61. Can you help me identify which hotel this is? I searched on the Hotwire hotel thread but there were no 2.5 stars hotel listed in the area. Thanks for your help!
I forgot to mention that I had PRICELINE bonus cash, $20, for the 3 nights. (So does that mean my bid amount was actually $66.67 per night?) I'm not sure that it makes a difference though.

This was a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal. I tried to bid on my own but in the end it was just cheaper to do the express deal with the BetterBidding coupon.
