  1. Stayed at the Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch. Great experience. No mention of priceline when I checked in. Requested two double beds nonsmoking ahead of time and got my request. The only downside to the stay (and it was VERY minor) is that our room was on the first floor down an isolated corridor; I have a hunch that this is where priceline customers get put. The room was very quiet, but I would have been dissapointed with it if I'd paid full price for the room. Great resort though, classy service, and I'd stay there again anytime.
  2. Bid $65 for 8/22 Resort Scottsdale Received an offer for a free rebid if I added $17. Instead, I added Downtown Phx (knowing that there are no Priceline resorts there) and increased by bid by $6 to $71. Accepted! The hotel is listed for $199 / night on Hyatt's web page. Can't wait - what a great hotel.
  3. It was a great hotel. Very friendly staff. No mention of priceline. Got a nonsmoking room with king size bed - no problem. Was actually surprised it was only a 3*!
  4. Through the recommended link to PRICELINE, I first tried 4* Fisherman's Wharf at $76. Got rejected with no counteroffer. We want to stay at Fisherman's Wharf and from the look of the hotel list, the 3* hotels look great too, so I went with 3* Fisherman's Wharf and lowered my price to $65. Accepted right away. Total with tax for three nights over Labor Day: $232 Thanks again Better Bidding!
  5. I have been searchign and searchign for a resonably priced 4* or 5* for the two nights specified. I got rejected by Priceline twice tonight with bids of $155, with the only counteroffers being for $286. We'd like to stay roughly within our max $150 price range. I wanted the Venetian, but it doens't look like that will happen. We are tryign for two rooms. The things that are most important to us are a really great pool and hopefully a center-strip location. Do you know what the 3 1/2 star hotels are that are being won are priceline and with what bids? I'd be okay (not thrilled however) with Excalibur or even the Sahara since the monorail now goes there, but I definitely do not want to get stuck at Circus Circus. Any advice would be appreciated or hints as to what people are getting with the EasyClickTravel 'Off the record' links I've seen on this site. There is a 4 1/2 star one listed for $133 for my dates. Any hints/help would be appreciated as we've always gotten great advice/deals from using BetterBidding.com.
