  1. Booked through PRICELINE EXPRESS link, got the Viceroy with the following amenities: 8.0/10 rating Outdoor Swimming Pool Pets Allowed Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center Not especially pleased as we've stayed there before and it's definitely not 5* (unless it's upgraded significantly), but it's not a bad price and it's one night so we'll live.
  2. I found a 5* in Times Square/Theater District for $492 on 3/11-3/12. Has Free Internet, Indoor Pool, Pet Friendly, Smoke Free, Fitness, Restaurants, Laundry, Spa. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
  3. We booked a Key West 4* hotel and got one that wasn't already listed, the Westin Key West Resort and Marina. Looks like a decent deal. Amenities are: Free Internet Pet friendly Oceanfront Property Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Tennis Nearby Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower
  4. Finally remembered to follow the better bidding links, and am very excited as it looks like a good deal (15 bucks cheaper than it was a few hours ago) and also is quite a new hotel so should be interesting- hopefully they've ironed out all the kinks! Amenities: Indoor pool(s), Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), High-Speed Internet Access, Spa
  5. Amenities Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Wheelchair accessible Have stayed here before, was hoping to get it again, really pleased with our get although the hotel does occasionally have great sales which might have harbored an even better deal.
  6. Thanks, I'm not sure if I'm going to risk it for that kind of cash, but I appreciate your help!

Here is the info for the listings: 5* Gold Coast - Lake Shore Drive - 442 Free Internet, Indoor Pool, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, Hi-Speed Internet, Spa Services, Accessible for blind, deaf, bathroom, Roll-in shower 5* Magnificent Mile North - Water Tower - 399 Free Internet, Indoor Pool Thanks for your help!
  8. I'm looking for hotels for 12/31 in Chicago, and have found two 5* hotels. I haven't seen any 5* hotels before, and none are listed in the list here, and now there are two. Is this a reclassification, or are these recently-added hotels? One is in Chicago Gold Coast - Lake Shore Drive area for 442, one is Magnificent Mile North - Water Tower area for 399. Any help with either or both would be appreciated.
  9. Yes, I need to be a little north of downtown for work, so was hoping to avoid all the chaos of downtown if I could; will probably go with a Gold Coast property as that seems the closest area. the 4* there (sutton place?) seems a good deal.
  10. Thanks! I was a little nervous about going with that one due to location and, if your guess is right, I'm glad I didn't jump on it. Will let you all know what I decide.
  11. Looks unfamiliar: 3* Lake View - Lincoln Park - Wrigleyville hotel with Complimentary Breakfast, Free Internet, Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, High-Speed Internet Access for 110/night on 5/14-5/15. Any ASAP help would be appreciated.
  12. Booked through the HOTWIRE link this time! Was 52/night. Booked for 1 night, 5/5-5/6. Amenities: Free Internet Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby
  13. Hey, I think I know what you're trying to ask. In terms of area, there's really no difference between MM/Streeterville and Gold Coast/NMA in terms of walkability, location, etc. If you were interested in museums and such, MM/Streeterville is slightly closer to those. As for fancier hotels, I would NOT go with the Omni, as that just isn't very "special" feeling. I think some hotels you should look out for are the Conrad, the James, the Sofitel, and the Drake (which is probably the best bet in terms of fanciness for the money and has a very nice, classic feel).
  14. Slightly disappointed as I've already stayed there and was hoping for Public, but still a good deal.
  15. Booked through Expedia on 3/11. Total with tax $135.46.
  16. I booked this hotel on Expedia (6 bucks cheaper than hotwire) and it turned out to be the new Hotel Lincoln
  17. 4* Lake View - Lincoln Park - Wrigleyville area hotel, $115 for March 14-15. Amenities: Smoke Free Rooms, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby. Any ideas as to what this is would be appreciated, haven't seen it before but its location would be great for my travel needs.
