The same hotel for these dates appears to be going for $79/night + taxes/fees on Hotwire, and the lowest price on the Sirata website is $104/night + taxes/fees. Based on past experience I assumed I would end up with this hotel again, which is indeed what happened. Bids were for a 2.5* hotel for 8/24/06 only. Started at $35, Livonia only - rejected, counteroffer of additional $9 was suggested Increased to $36, Livonia + Canton (nothing higher than 2*) - offer accepted! Based on this, it seems like a pretty bad deal to accept the counteroffer! Overall, this is a fairly decent hotel. It has an indoor pool and free hot breakfast, which is always a plus, and all of the rooms have kitchenettes. For $10 less than I paid last time, I certainly can't complain! :)

Started at $28/night, airport zone only, and first bid was accepted. Should work well for going to a football game, even though it's a little bit of a drive to Heinz Field. GO SPARTANS!!! Started with a $30 bid for a 2* in Clearlake-Nassau Bay and was rejected, suggested increase was $8. Added Downtown Houston (figuring that there would be nothing that cheap downtown) and increased my bid to $35, which was accepted for the 2* Extendedstay America Houston NASA. In addition, I think I may have received an upgrade when I arrived, because the room I ended up with was a one bedroom suite with 2 double beds.
