  1. Used the BB PRICELINE link. Selected 3* for Norman, OK (I chose 2 sub-areas #2 & #5 -- sorry can't remember what they actually were--but both were for the 2 areas of Norman that are close to each other). Bid accepted at $45/nt
  2. Bid $55 on a 3* Hotel in the Lisle-Naperville area. Was "upgraded" to 4* as bid was accepted by Lisle Hyatt. Good price, but I was actually trying to avoid this hotel as it's on the opposite side of town where I wanted to be. Oh well... Summary of Charges Offer Price: avg. per room, per night $55.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 3 Room Subtotal: $165.00 Taxes & Fees: $29.58 Total Charged to Card: $194.58
  3. There are no 4* hotels on the list for Lisle-Naperville Lisle-Naperville is a pretty wide swath of land. Any idea as to what this hotel is? Thanks. 4. There are definitely no gas stations along the "marked" route to BWI. Having dropped off several rental cars at BWI, I've found that there are a couple that are close to the rental depot. If you're taking Route 100E, exit at 10B. Take a right at the 2nd stoplight onto Dorsey Road, you'll see a gas station on the right (there's also a Shell across the street a little further up). Here's the address for your GPS: 1401 Dorsey Road Hanover, MD 21076 Prices are very reasonable. When you're done, exit the station through the exit you DID NOT come in on and turn left (Ridge Road). Go a few blocks and turn right onto the first intersection (New Ridge Road). Go a couple of miles through and industrial park and the rental car depot will be on the left. You're basically coming up the back way to the depot. It sounds a lot more complex than it is. It adds no additional time to your trip, because there's no traffic there.
  5. Had a tough time getting this. For 2 days, I was getting a message that "no cars were available." Finally got one about 36 hours out. Bid $20 and Priceline countered with $26. I didn't feel like waiting the 24hours to counter, so I accepted the counter. Still beats the cost of the $100 cab ride back home. Your Offer Price: $26.00 (per day) Total Rental Days: 1 days(0 days and 15 hours) Subtotal: $26.00 Taxes and Fees: $12.81 Total Charges: $38.81 Lowest Published Price: $86.94 Total Savings:* $48.13 (You saved 55%) Started with the BetterBidding PRICELINE link
