Hi, Am going back to Dearborn (fairlane center) on the 18th. Will be making this trip weekly this year (at least 3 nights a week with at least one of them being 2 in a row). Stayed at DTW doubletree last time at $45 (3) and it wasn't bad. Only 20 minutes from my destination. Should I look closer to the date? I wouldn't mind Hampton Inn-type as all I am looking for is clean and preferably free internet. Are they 2.5? Thanks!
july 21 to July 22... made it last Friday. I added this zone (yes, airport zone.. not too far from where I will be working). As I mentioned, I plan to stay at or near dearborn at least once per week for next year... maybe more if other arrangements don't work out. .. would consider paying a bit more to be closer to dearborn... I was planning on trying PL for awhile and then try to cut a deal with a particular hotel. Whatever you have to offer though will be appreciated.
Hi, I tried 4 stars, dearborn @ 45, 3 stars dearborn @ 45, added detroit for each.. got nada, added DTW.. got the doubletree... will be doing this weekly starting mid-aug. any advice or is this the way I shoud be doing it?
thanks for your help... we decided to stay in jersey the first night and then got a room at the omni berkshire (AAA rate) for 219. You got me a little nervous about 2 beds/1 bed thing with the kids. Hotel was WONDERFUL.. walking distance to everything.
thanks...but, the time that I got online the beekman was filled. I am thinking of staying at "jersey" chain hotel tonight and then in Manhatten tomorrow. Any idea? We are leaving Ohio around 3pm. If we miss, thanks for your previous attention to me!
we have NO idea how much to spend. Really are planning 2 days of killer sightseeing so don't plan to spend much time in room. 2 teenage boys. would love nyc but could stay in jersey (have car). thanks... btw... just took a job a UM-Dearborn
